- So crazy to be able to hunt this!! An amazing shiny I've always wanted to get. I'm kind of on a 3rd gen hunting kick right now, but I'm also planning one of my wildest gauntlets yet, so look forward to that! Shoutout to Invader TAK for reminding me about this method to get the AuroraTicket and to TheSupremeRk9s for motivating me to hunt this with a race!

Congrats on the shiny as always, but I wanna give special props for you syncing up the GBAs at 2:00 so that the star from the Gamefreak logo travelled through them in order, that was a really nice touch.

Man. This made me remember how much I loved the GBA screen... something about the way you could identify all the pixels easily really made it memorable to me for some reason. The Pokemon games looked great on it.

there are scan line filters for emulators that replicate the style and i use it, it feels very good to use and sorta nostalgic

Gens 3 and 5 are **i c o n i c** for their sprite art. Definitely one of the reasons why I do pixel art.

This video instantly reminded me when the Pokemon world tour was happening....must have been way back in 2005 or 2006 and they came to the mall of america. They gave away a deoxys and when I got home I was so excited to just have one that I didn't even SR for the shiny. I still have that thing, traded from game to game to game over the years. Sorry this comment was more about me....but the vid brought me back to the old days....lol. Also congrats on the shiny Tailow....nice to see you still playing GO. I'm working on 100 million XP in GO....so yea, it's a little bit of an addiction to me.

This whole recreation is sick. The dedication fans have to this franchise and events, tweaking, etc etc (been watching 4th gen tweaking vids and it’s still being updated as far back as 2017!) will never cease to amaze me!

What you said at the beginning of the video accurately sums up my childhood dream of wanting a shiny Deoxys. In fact, I thought it would be amazing if I could get even just a regular Deoxys. I did the same thing you did to load the event onto my save file and did my very first shiny hunt with 1/8192 odds on my fire red, which I thought I would never do. Luckily, I found mine at around 4,000 resets a day after new year's. It was truly amazing 💫💫💫

Congrats! I’m currently using a fanmade server that recreates Nintendo WFC and allows for the distribution of Mystery Gifts in generations 4 & 5, and now I’m able to hunt Darkrai and Shaymin in semi legit ways.

the only shiny I've hunted for was mudkip in emerald, got itprobably around 8k resets. I've usually had really bad shiny luck but this save file was just golden. Got a shiny abra and a shiny slugma on my playthrough and soft reseted for a kyogre with a good nature, but got a shiny on my 20th reset. Problem was that I didnt have a masterball so I had to catch him the regular way with out false swipe. I had below 50% catch rate on the kyogres before the shiny appeared, I was so nervous, but I got it in the end:D Never resetting that save file again.
Definitely one of the best shinys in 3rd gen congrats! GL on the Zapdospantsoff hunt!

Oh man, I remember going to this event at a Vue cinema (I don't think it was called Vue at the time), my first and only real life event I went to. That was one hell of an experience... Unfortunately I've lost the FireRed this Deoxys was on, was so close to completing the full dex, was devastated
hey man, im curious of what flash cart you used and did you buy it with the rom already on it or did you have to put it on yourself? ive been shiny hunting on my leaf green and both fire red copys for months now and would love to add deoxys to the PC. Also, do you know if there is anything like this for mew? If you see this, please comment back. i only have a few questions about it all. love the channel btw!
I got an EZFlash on ebay, and I put the ROM on a microSD to put in the cartridge! There is a Toys R Us Mew distribution cartridge you can download to put on that cart probably on that same forum, but it can't be shiny hunted. If you want to hunt Mew in 3rd gen, you pretty much have to hack to get to the island for it in Emerald version

I was playing my emerald a while back and when I got to Rayquaza again he was shiny. Fucked with me a little bit. I only replayed that game 3 times.
I achieved catching all legendary Pokemon in emerald and fire red version (non-shinies) with only pokeball and it took like almost forever

The younger generation will never know the struggle of the anticipation of capturing a Pokemon that just wouldn't stay in the fukn ball and how we pressed all the buttons in hope that was the key to capturing that Pokemon.

In Crystal I've got Bayleef, Poliwag, Hitmonchan (evolved Tyrogue from Odd Egg), Growlithe, Phanpy & Gastly. I'm using an emulator in order to disable the "trade evolution" feature. I really want a Jolteon in my party but I'm not sure who to drop.

I have one question is ther any difference in the deoxys data between that way and getting the Event item with an Ar. Cause i hunted a Shiny deoxys but had to hack the Event item. And now i have seen this video and im not Sure how legit it is

Do you need a working battery in the cartridge to get shinies?
Fire Red and Leaf Green actually don't have internal batteries, so no battery is required! However, a drained internal battery in Ruby and Sapphire kind of breaks the RNG for soft reset targets by always starting out on the same frame. Random encounter hunts on a dry battery are still fine, though

There is also another way to get Deoxys in gen 3 games (Emerald version) that not requieres any gameshark or even anything more than your copy of the game and the console. There are some glitches that u could use to get the ticket using the pomeg berry glitch and another one to make the script happen. Also since it is in Emerald u can exploit its broken rng to make the shiny hunt easier. And since is emerald too, u can clone easily the deoxys if u want to make more. All of that using only your copy of the game and anything else, I find it amazing.
The pomeg glitch and what people have figured out they can do with it is incredible

I recommend the GBA Flash Omega Cart. They are around $60.

I don't plan on personally transferring it up, but I believe it registers as Kanto. If you catch it in Emerald, it will be from Hoenn

Favorite Pokemon of all time, I personally for some reason I really like his normal form despite it being called the worse out of the four in terms of stats. I have Normal Deoxys in Pokemon Go and he is my buddy ^-^
