Oh my God, domestic Jarry make me so happy. Romeo and Harry being cuties together, Harry struggling to know the poets, this was so cute. Also, Harry being the number one man in James' life, my heart when WHOOSH. Also can this please not end in disaster for Jarry? Because Romeo isn't a big responsibility for James, and neither is Harry. They're both young, yes, but they're not stupid, childish little boys... well, they actually kind are, but you all get my point. I don't want the same cliche storyline to follow this; Harry gets jealous, flies off the handle, fights with James, then tries to make James choose between him and Romeo, James goes ahead and chooses Romeo, they both fight some more, get heartbroken, and then break up, and Harry goes back to either prostitution again, or worse, he goes back to Ste. We've tried this whole mess before, let's please not do it again, and go forward with this storyline as James and Harry being domestic and good to each other and to Romeo, and they all exist happily in their messed up family bubble. Maybe throw some Ste drama in there, just a tad, to spice things up a bit. But let Jarry remain endgame. Good? Good, let's get on with the show then.
There will always be a little drama, but yes let Jarry be endgame/ show how strong they are , and not turn it into jalousi and huge fighting and for goodness sake not get Harry back with Ste.
Our boys have put their relationship on on another level am happy for that....but am starting to think Romeo may become athreat to their relationship..also Harry being anumber one man in james' life
Dear writers, as much as I love seeing that there seems to develop a new storyline around Jarry and their family, please don't make this about Harry being jealous of Romeo and James neglecting his boyfriend. First, I really liked how mature and caring Harry acted towards Romeo and his relationship with James from the beginning, and I wouldn't like this positive progress to be taken away from him. Second, we all know how this kind of storyline ends: Harry can't cope with the situation, forces James to choose between him and Romeo, of course, James will choose his son and both of them end up heart broken. Not. Cool.
I too don't want the storyline to develop into Harry feeling neglected and they have a huge fight that breaks them apart. That would make me angry. Hope they just let them be happy, so James can have both Harry and Romeo in his life.

Hollyoaks has only got worse with time, and to be brutally honest it wasn't even close to its finest during the James/Harry years either (this s/l was one of the few consistently decent threads at the time). In the last few months, I've dipped back into the show after a few years of staying away totally, and beyond plots involving the character Sid (the current best character imo), there is nothing worth watching or that is even basically watchable on an intellectual level, whether you're just looking for ships/same-sex visibility, or you want a generally entertaining soap. These days, the show feels like a parody of its former self, or like a mock-up of a show put together for teens in a social studies/sexual health class mandated by government, one that talks down the audience and treats them like idiots. I question whether the current writers' room there even knows *how* to write suspense, character objectives, basic narrative beats, etc., as every s/l seems like it's centred around a checkbox Issue(TM) and associated buzzwords. It's meant to be professional experienced tv-writers in adulthood who write Hollyoaks; tbh, Skins was better by orders of magnitude, and that was literally written by schoolkids and interns with no CV. Really sad to see this level of decline, especially for this fan who's watched since the early-mid 2000s. I won't be back again until it's at least at the quality level it was c.2010-11 (the last semi-passable season you could reset to, imo). I have my doubts it will ever return to an acceptable standard, though, and if the plug was pulled on it in the next few years, I could live with it--perhaps it's run its course..
