Greetings! Good job! I wanted to make such a definition cutter. Then refused. Since very thick metal insert inside a wooden handle. Will be faintly fixed. My cutters are welded and the tube will not fit. Therefore, I make them one-sided.
That's one sharp tool! It went thru that wood like a hot knife through butter. I especially like that it has two ends. That makes the tool more efficient than a single ended one. I live to make my own small carving tools for detail work and the next one I make will be double ended. I also spotted the simple shield above your grinder. Another great idea I may use! Thank you for sharing your ideas. PS- just curious, do you quench the steel in water or oil when grinding?
