I love the mini unfolding bag, I have to have one. I love watching your channel. I get so many great ideas for my trips. I always travel with my sister we cruise a lot! We arrive early and get hotel rooms, I thought I was safe until I watched your video, and you opened my eyes about hidden dangers and staying safe in hotels while traveling. Thanks, I will be using as many of your tips and will feel safer as we travel on our next adventure through the Mediterranean 3 back to back cruises starting November. With stays in Venice Italy and Miami Florida being our 3rd cruise is Transatlantic 42 days at sea, with many stops in-between. Spending time in Tampa FL visiting family before heading back home to Chicago. Being retired, I'm blessed I get to travel with my sister so many places around the world. My husband doesn't want to go, his line is, "Can't you go with your sister?" . He's a retired Navy man and civilian sailing on ships, not his thing 😅. I'll let you know how it goes. My niece and husband are 1st time cruisers (July). I've already referred them to your channel.

I like packing lighter and leaner, but honestly, I just need more things than most people. I must be able to add a bottle of water. I’d also like my sling to be my daily purse,so it needs to look nice. God bless you with good health! I enjoy your well thought out videos.

I feel like I’m a bag lady as well!! I have multiple sizes of the mesh bags and love them for edc and travel. I take a packable backpack pouch on trips and love a crossbody or small sling for the plane as well as a large tote for under seat. Oh my goodness I’m so sorry to hear of your kidney disease! Something you might want to check out is biaggi bags and their packing cubes and Norwex products that may help you with getting your cleaning products you take downsized a bit! I have a Lug Canter bag, and I love it! It has carry handles, crossbody strap, and backpack straps. My favorite part is the clear zipper pouch inside. Totally recommend! Other lug bags look great too.

Lately, I've been using the Orvis Tough Trail sling pack. I thrifted mine, so I didn't originally realize that it's designed for dog walking. I don't have a dog. I have been enjoying using it. I also like that the inside is bright blue. The outside of mine is orange but they currently have a pretty shade of blue on the website.

I got the Pacsafe back pack as it's nice and a good size for travelling. it's made of Stainless steel mesh, has locks and you can chain it to items for safety. Has water bottle holders on both sides and it's comfortable.

I love the look of the Baggalini sling, and that it converts to carry as a backpack. I kind of wish there was a combo with that and the Mosiso quilted one. It's so awesome that a viewer did some legwork on other options, since your original EDC is no longer available.

I liked the packable sling. I find that if I use the travel bag ahead of time that I get used to what's what and where I put it. I can also make modifications before my actual travel. Sending prayers for you and David.
Anne-Marie you and I are very similar! I like to take anything new that I’m traveling with and use it for a day just to see how well it works in my every day use and that includes clothing and shoes as well! I remember once I went to Europe, and I bought a new pair of shoes and boy was I sorry! I had a huge blisters and thank goodness. My mom brought a pair comfortable shoes that I could wear for the trip but I learned a very valuable lesson and then.🙏😊❤️

She has never traveled overseas before, so I was looking for videos to help her know what to bring with her and found your channel. I've used mine all over the world and bought one for my daughter for her travels. She loves it as well. They are great as the pockets and compartments actual lock. They also are made of a material that a knife can't cut into. So very safe.

I keep sending friends to you 🙂 This is a great comparison video, of the options here, I like your quilted EDC and I could see myself using the packable one for travel. Those little mesh bags are great too. I have purchased a few sling bags over the years, usually at Marshall's or TJ Maxx. However, it is not a style that works very well for me. Partly because in the winter, they don't work very well with a heavy coat, and in summer it's just so humid and sticky here I can't stand something that big sitting on the trunk of my body. We have about 6 days a year when the weather is ideal! I have a ridiculous amount of Vera Bradley bags, and I do love the way they look, but I find that what works best for me as an EDC is the Kipling Alvar cross body bag. I call it my "Tardis bag" because it is so small and flat on the outside, I can wear it under a light jacket and you'd never guess I am wearing a bag. But I can fit a wholly ridiculous amount inside it. And the organization is phenomenal. Glad to hear David is doing so well, and sending healing energy your way every day. I’m still being very cautious about things I do with my back and my knee is still giving me some issues, but I have been doing some research on what I can do to try to avoid total knee replacement surgery.. I’m so glad you are enjoying my emergency prep videos and my Amazon storefront! I was looking at it yesterday and it seems a little disorganized so I’m gonna have to spend a day and get in there and look at all the things that are sold out and clean it up a little bit, but I truly appreciate you taking the time to look at it💕😊
@@TheoryofSimple I am happy you are doing better and looking for solutions to your knee issues. Maybe a prepping for disabilities is in order? I have RA so use a lot of things to help open things. As a result I prep water in 1 gallon Arizona iced tea containers, easy to lift and really tough jug. I have these tiny knipex plier to help open water bottles and such. Not the tiniest set, I think the 5" ones, they are AWESOME! I was looking for that cover light in your store, they don't sell it anymore. It would be nice to see a category just for lighting. Glad you're doing better!
I like using my "Personal Flex Bag" that I bought from a Facebook ad many years ago. It is very slim yet holds my phone, Kindle Fire HD, wallet and more. I'm sure the inspiration for its design came from a underarm concealed carry rig. The strap goes across my chest and the bag sits nicely under my arm. I often forget to remove it before I get in the car to drive because it is so comfortable. Because it rests comfortably on my side, it can't be seen when I wear a vest or loose shirt. I wear this bag when I don't want to fuss with purse straps or something flopping, swinging around as I bend down to look at something. Primarily, this bag is perfect for concerts, the fair, travel and other situations where pickpockets could be a concern. The concerts I go to require the use of a 12x12x6" clear tote bag. I can put my flex bag in the clear bag (along with disguised and not permitted snacks and collapsible water bottle) just to get through security or, just wear it covered by a vest or loose shirt. At concerts, I can dance and jump around without hitting anyone with a purse or placing a purse on my seat "hoping" it isn't taken or placing it on the dirty floor to be stepped on or taken. The only drawback to the flex bag is that it won't fit any purchases that I make. I carry a couple nylon shopping bags that fold up to the size of a credit card. At concerts, that 12x12x6" clear bag really holds a lot of merch 😂 and mine zips closed to slow down fellow fans. I bought my three (black, grey, lavender) from Flex Moves dot CO dot UK for less than $40 a piece. You can search "flex bag" on Amazon and Google and find several variations and prices, but the same idea. I've found one on the Temu website/app that is $4.94 and is in my shopping cart. I'm curious about the quality. I'm waiting for my first Temu order to arrive in the next couple days with a number of other tote bags and a knock off TRTL travel pillow. I adore my original TRTL and wanted a back up. I paid $30 and the current price is $50. Temu is $5.78.

I buy “bags” from someone who has a small business and makes all kinds of bags. I love her camera bags when I travel. They are made if fabric and lined and tons of pockets. I carried one all around Scotland and London. You can choose the inside to be for cameras or a purse style. I will be praying for you and David.

I love the mini unfolding bag, I have to have one. I love watching your channel. I get so many great ideas for my trips. I always travel with my sister we cruise a lot! We arrive early and get hotel rooms, I thought I was safe until I watched your video, and you opened my eyes about hidden dangers and staying safe in hotels while traveling. Thanks, I will be using as many of your tips and will feel safer as we travel on our next adventure through the Mediterranean 3 back to back cruises starting November. With stays in Venice Italy and Miami Florida being our 3rd cruise is Transatlantic 42 days at sea, with many stops in-between. Spending time in Tampa FL visiting family before heading back home to Chicago. Being retired, I'm blessed I get to travel with my sister so many places around the world. My husband doesn't want to go, his line is, "Can't you go with your sister?" . He's a retired Navy man and civilian sailing on ships, not his thing 😅. I'll let you know how it goes. My niece and husband are 1st time cruisers (July). I've already referred them to your channel.

I like packing lighter and leaner, but honestly, I just need more things than most people. I must be able to add a bottle of water. I’d also like my sling to be my daily purse,so it needs to look nice. God bless you with good health! I enjoy your well thought out videos.

I feel like I’m a bag lady as well!! I have multiple sizes of the mesh bags and love them for edc and travel. I take a packable backpack pouch on trips and love a crossbody or small sling for the plane as well as a large tote for under seat. Oh my goodness I’m so sorry to hear of your kidney disease! I’m so happy you found this video helpful and maybe hopefully found your next great lightweight pack. I used to use leather all the time as well because it’s very adorable but I did find it to be heavy and whenever I got wet in the rain it just started to be stained.

Lately, I've been using the Orvis Tough Trail sling pack. I thrifted mine, so I didn't originally realize that it's designed for dog walking. I don't have a dog. I have been enjoying using it. I also like that the inside is bright blue. The outside of mine is orange but they currently have a pretty shade of blue on the website.

I got the Pacsafe back pack as it's nice and a good size for travelling. it's made of Stainless steel mesh, has locks and you can chain it to items for safety. Has water bottle holders on both sides and it's comfortable.

I love the look of the Baggalini sling, and that it converts to carry as a backpack. I kind of wish there was a combo with that and the Mosiso quilted one. It's so awesome that a viewer did some legwork on other options, since your original EDC is no longer available.

I liked the packable sling. I find that if I use the travel bag ahead of time that I get used to what's what and where I put it. I can also make modifications before my actual travel. Sending prayers for you and David.
Anne-Marie you and I are very similar! I like to take anything new that I’m traveling with and use it for a day just to see how well it works in my every day use and that includes clothing and shoes as well! I remember once I went to Europe, and I bought a new pair of shoes and boy was I sorry! I had a huge blisters and thank goodness. My mom brought a pair comfortable shoes that I could wear for the trip but I learned a very valuable lesson and then.🙏😊❤️
I just found you online and subscribed. I have a granddaughter that is going to Italy this summer for an archeological dig with her college. She has never traveled overseas before, so I was looking for videos to help her know what to bring with her and found your channel. She is now watching you as well. @Paige I love the packable sling and will be getting one for my travels. Thank you. For travel, I really like the Travelon Anti-theft bags. I've used mine all over the world and bought one for my daughter for her travels. She loves it as well. They are great as the pockets and compartments actual lock. They also are made of a material that a knife can't cut into. So very safe.

I keep sending friends to you 🙂 This is a great comparison video, of the options here, I like your quilted EDC and I could see myself using the packable one for travel. Those little mesh bags are great too. I have purchased a few sling bags over the years, usually at Marshall's or TJ Maxx. However, it is not a style that works very well for me. Partly because in the winter, they don't work very well with a heavy coat, and in summer it's just so humid and sticky here I can't stand something that big sitting on the trunk of my body. We have about 6 days a year when the weather is ideal! I have a ridiculous amount of Vera Bradley bags, and I do love the way they look, but I find that what works best for me as an EDC is the Kipling Alvar cross body bag. I call it my "Tardis bag" because it is so small and flat on the outside, I can wear it under a light jacket and you'd never guess I am wearing a bag. But I can fit a wholly ridiculous amount inside it. And the organization is phenomenal. Glad to hear David is doing so well, and sending healing energy your way every day. I’m still being very cautious about things I do with my back and my knee is still giving me some issues, but I have been doing some research on what I can do to try to avoid total knee replacement surgery.. I’m so glad you are enjoying my emergency prep videos and my Amazon storefront! I was looking at it yesterday and it seems a little disorganized so I’m gonna have to spend a day and get in there and look at all the things that are sold out and clean it up a little bit, but I truly appreciate you taking the time to look at it💕😊

As a result I prep water in 1 gallon Arizona iced tea containers, easy to lift and really tough jug. I have these tiny knipex plier to help open water bottles and such. Not the tiniest set, I think the 5" ones, they are AWESOME!
I was looking for that cover light in your store, they don't sell it anymore. It would be nice to see a category just for lighting.

I like using my "Personal Flex Bag" that I bought from a Facebook ad many years ago. It is very slim yet holds my phone, Kindle Fire HD, wallet and more. I'm sure the inspiration for its design came from a underarm concealed carry rig. The strap goes across my chest and the bag sits nicely under my arm. I often forget to remove it before I get in the car to drive because it is so comfortable. Because it rests comfortably on my side, it can't be seen when I wear a vest or loose shirt. I wear this bag when I don't want to fuss with purse straps or something flopping, swinging around as I bend down to look at something. Primarily, this bag is perfect for concerts, the fair, travel and other situations where pickpockets could be a concern. The concerts I go to require the use of a 12x12x6" clear tote bag. I can put my flex bag in the clear bag (along with disguised and not permitted snacks and collapsible water bottle) just to get through security or, just wear it covered by a vest or loose shirt.
At concerts, I can dance and jump around without hitting anyone with a purse or placing a purse on my seat "hoping" it isn't taken or placing it on the dirty floor to be stepped on or taken.
The only drawback to the flex bag is that it won't fit any purchases that I make. I carry a couple nylon shopping bags that fold up to the size of a credit card. At concerts, that 12x12x6" clear bag really holds a lot of merch 😂 and mine zips closed to slow down fellow fans.
I bought my three (black, grey, lavender) from Flex Moves dot CO dot UK for less than $40 a piece. You can search "flex bag" on Amazon and Google and find several variations and prices, but the same idea. I've found one on the Temu website/app that is $4.94 and is in my shopping cart. I'm curious about the quality. I'm waiting for my first Temu order to arrive in the next couple days with a number of other tote bags and a knock off TRTL travel pillow. I adore my original TRTL and wanted a back up. I paid $30 and the current price is $50. Temu is $5.78.

I buy “bags” from someone who has a small business and makes all kinds of bags. I love her camera bags when I travel. They are made if fabric and lined and tons of pockets. I carried one all around Scotland and London. You can choose the inside to be for cameras or a purse style. I will be praying for you and David.
