the definition of sounding tight it's this video. No tricks, no computer crap, just pure practice and mastery of being together in the song. No wonder Dave Grohl says they are the best sounding live band in the world.
i think Between The Buried and Me would compete for that crown. Best sounding live band I've heard yet. They have some live videos that sound almost tighter than studio and I mean it. I loved seeing QOTSA in Toronto it was a nice sounding show. I also wasn't a fan of the venue however.

Radiohead/ The Smile give anyone a run for their money. But this is pretty great here. Foo Fighters last album and The Strokes are still going hard also.
Excellent mixing. Saw them a week ago (not the first time) and I’m convinced they are the best band currently touring. Also my favorite band for many years.
I love it when they release the studio version at its best, but then when you hear them play live, I love the shock of seeing them play even better! 🤘🏻
I saw them live and that is so true, I actually like the live version of this song better than the album. So good live!

100%; the album was great but to me it felt a bit like qotsa reaching that dreaded point of becoming a cover band of themselves... but listening ti then live changes everything; this is a delight to listen to and to watch
I saw them in ATL as well. I got to meet them after the show!! Waited by the tour buses and got selfies with each of them, even got a selfie with Jesse. Josh and Troy signed my QOTSA shirt!
@@markjames8664 For sure and that hungry predator stage presence of his is pure gold. After years of waiting I finally get to see them in Montreal in April.
I still remember seeing them back on their first tour, when they were traveling in a van and Josh was slinging their swag at the merch table. It's a completely different band now, but I'll always like 'em.
Saw them front row in Philly this past summer (have some vids on my channel if anyone’s interested). I’m 35 and been a fan since I blind bought Lullabies the week it came out in 2005. It was utterly surreal to finally be seeing them live, much less to be mere feet from Joshua and directly in front of his mic for the entire gig. They were phenomenal live and it was one of the greatest shows I’ve ever been to.
Best band in the world! This band has carried me through every adversity in the last 10 years. Every single album tells its own story and depicts the evolution of Josh Homme’s life and the band. If you have just heard of them I urge that you explore the entire discography. Every song is a masterpiece. Seen them 10 years ago and can’t wait to see them again in Melbourne in February 2024!! 🤘🤘🤘

I love QOTSA and this album so much. Truly one of the grsatest rock bands that has and will ever exist. You cant not move at their shows, and they sound SO. GOOD!
Queens of The Stone Age I feel it's just always getting better and better. They got such a charismatic sound. I underrate them personally... what a performance.
We just took our 3 kids ages 18-23 to see QOTSA this past Tuesday on 12-12 for our wedding anniversary and it wasn't the first time I've seen them but it was the best because our kids were all there with us. And they played I Wanna Make It Witchu and Little Sister which are my two favorite songs even though it's impossible to pick any favorites. 👑🕊️🤙🏼
@@SunofShasta He's the best! I prayed so hard that there would be a miracle that somehow added us to the tour and it happened! Nice to see quite a few comments of 'best band in the world right now' as this is exactly how I describe them. Saw them in Manchester in November, for personal reasons was a terrible time for me but these guys still managed to give me some happiness.
I discovered them when Songs for the Deaf made them huge, and it was fun to get to know them in reverse. There’s a lot to sink your teeth into. Take your time.

Pretty cool that Josh has been able to keep the same band members for a good amount of time now. They sound solid.
Wow, that was tight. After all these years, this band is still amazing to watch.
They kinda stole that song title from Silverchair though 🤣

Amazing mix. Dean is clearly heard, Troy and Mikey’s vocals are audible. 10/10
Listening to this with decent headphones-the end was literally jaw-dropping 🔥🖤🖤🖤 Now I want this whole album live with this mix cuz I'm spoiled 😆
I'm listening on my phone speaker and can hear everything. That's a sign of a great mix!

Audio mixing doesn't get enough credit, great to see this comment as high as it is!
Queens constantly proving how good of a band they are. Love it.
