Saw Magnum support BOC in 1979 and been a huge fan since. They are part of the story of my life like many other fans. They have put out some naff stuff at times but overall remain a class act and thankfully are a bit underated ( which makes them feel like they are your own band !!!)
I saw them as support to Whitesnake back in 78 and have been a big fan ever since...Thank you Magnum for all the superb music you have made over the years.
What a tune and fantastic band, was lucky enough to have been borrowed "KOM" in 1980 I was brought up on punk ramones, damned, buzzcocks ruts, uk subs etc but I had a rock side, deep purple maiden and others, Magnum for me being an English kid brought up in Mossley just outside Manchester I travelled to see them in Birmingham, then saw them many many times over the years, never really got the credit their talent deserved did some really good anti war songs in there catalogue as well...
Brilliant song and just a perfect description of a narcissist. Well done Tony, there is a person like this near everyone. They use you, then discard you, after they sucked out everything you have, including your soul. Love it xxx
A ripper album - bound to be a classic. Ticks all the boxes - memorable songs, nice tones, top arrangements/performances, great production and above all MELODIC with the amazing fantasy Magnum vibe.
🙌 the guys simply never seize to drive forward what it is that’s Magnum. Tony has a way of expressing such sincere feelings in words, words that epitomise feelings I share equally with experiences in my own life. They’re always very relatable. Bob delivers his message with the passion and sincerity intended. Magnum are and will always be very close to heart for me. ❤️
Marcel Kodada there's plenty more to find then 😀 Without Love from the last album. Your Dream's Won't Die from the album before that or Soldier of the Line, Les Mort Dansant and Vigilante and many many more from the classic years 😀
actually the actual drummer's playing is very boring, predictable and not very varied. Drumming sounds the same in each song. No comparison to Kex Gorin or Mark Stanway.
Excellent track as always guys, awsome production and delivery by Mr Catley. And goodness we can all relate to these lyrics, despite no matter how hard you try at life, despite the hundred and ten percent you may give in a career or relationship or other, you are lied to and treated poorly. I will never ever forgive the few people that have lied to me and let me down beyond the levels I though were possible over the last couple of years. Magnum continue to be the music of my life that keep me standing above. X
This one took me back to the early Magnum ditties for some reason. I'm not saying I want to go back there, as I've liked Magnum tracks more as you've progressed thru the years, but it's nice hearing a hint of it in a modern track. Maybe it's keeping it simple with all the new band members, as I felt I wanted a tad more intricacy - maybe that'll develop as the band gels.
Not Forgiven Is A Great Straight Up Rock Song By Magnum That Totally Rocks And Needs To Be Cranked All The Way Up To Full Maximum Volume When Listening To This Great Time.
Great song and I hear this on the radio at work alot but it sounds like he's saying Pokemon Pokemon Pokemon Pokemon instead of forgiven forgiven forgiven forgiven! 😂
What a great song! Just lacking that stardust sparkle of Lowe, Stanway and Barker to lift it to that level not reached for so long. With the right line up could have been an all-time classic.
Not bad, it's going to take a while to grow on me though, it might work better on the record. But after the masterpiece that was LOTRTE it'll be hard to please everyone. Solid song, could be a grower.
This is what I say to my stepson after what he did after looking him from a baby now 23 with his biological father who want him aborted but came back into his life at 21
And you are possibly assuming its about former band members when it could be about a lot of people. I would say that it is perhaps you who needs to move on.
@@AmbersKnight Not sure what you are trying to hint? How is the fact that it's an average song at best related to any former band members? Was Al Barrow still part of the song creation process?
Ian Graham no! I was not part of this album and song creation. As you can read on the Magnum group page that Tony’s daughter makes a post saying many of wrong conclusions have been drawn about the subject matter. I’m not sure with me being part of it would have mattered as Tony writes all lyrics. Not sure why you are assuming it would have been about Mark if I had still been in the band? Hope this helps in some way.
@@AlanBarrow I have never assummed anything. I only said that I think it is an average but very bitter and uninspiring song. Very bad vibes. I never considered it being about former band members until others mentioned them. Whatever the song relates to I don't like it's negativity.
@@bullworkerx5959 Then you would know that it's more true to call them Hard Rain. On the first HR there was only Bob and Tony. Magnum today it's more vibes of negativity, both musically and bitterness towards past members
That's a classic Kenneth. Bob and Tony ARE Magnum.the singer and songwriter who everyone recognise as Magnum. No bitterness towards Al Barrow who is still an important friend of the band and still doing artwork and design for them. The new single isn't about any ex members and I have only seen criticism of one ex member in a couple of interviews. Check the charts round Europe in January when the new album is released and see Magnum doing well once more.
@@bullworkerx5959 I think some members have contributed more than others over the years. With this line-up, it's more correct to call it Hard Rain. I loved the first Hard Rain album in fact. It was then refreshing. I don't now why their music is so boring this says...maybe because Bobs voice is a mess, and Tony have to wright songs that suits that voice?
On the Magnum fan Group page in the comments under the album art picture it is explained it is about the Italian Harlequin character which also shows why they picked that particular artwork
@@AlanBarrow: Referring to the comment you made yesterday, suggesting that someone who didn't like the tune might as well go back into his mother's basement & engage in watching juvenile boys on a site you called "tic-toc".
Apparently it's about the mythical Italian Harlequin figure as explained on the Magnum Fan Group page which is why the single cover has his picture on. Hate filled lyrics? I listen to a song for the music rather than the lyrics
since 2004 every album is amazing
ONE OF BEST A.O.R. PUMP MUSCOLAR ROCK EVER !

It's different when veterans of Hard Rock puts out a new album. The quality of the song shows.
Whatever that means ? Magnum are kings ..... long live the kings.
my youth coming back. Magnum rise again from the 80

First hard rock band I ever saw live(Louisville, Kentucky- 1982). And they still rock!

Another great song in the best Magnum tradition. Never get tired of this band. Top music through the years!!

So great! Classic Magnum with a heavier edge. I love it.
Superb song.
Magnum on top form.
Это просто пипец какой-то. Давно меня так не штырило от одной песни! Два года уже слушаю - не могу наслушаться!!! Собсно и весь альбом окуенен!!!

Another superb song! Love the guitar, love the voice, love the keys, love the drums, love the bass...
Can't wait. One day there will be no more new Magnum albums. Been following for more years than I care to remember.
Met Bob many year's ago at his house in Tamworth really down to earth
Nono no. It's Back To Earth. 🤣
Excellent track from a legendery band!!!
Bob still on top form ✌
The best Magnum's song in many many years!

His voice❤️is still good even after all this time!
No sadly not
Bob Catley-The Greatest Planetary Bas-Bariton ... 3:16-3:48…🌌...Ronnie James Dio-The Greatest Planetary Tenor ...🌌
Yes, you're right. His voice has become a bit more edgy with his age, but at least he can still sing, compared to Paul Stanley and David Coverdale.
Cant wait for "Scream for me Exeter!"
Love love love love
Can't wait till 17th January for the album!!!!!
Another classic from Clarkin I love it

6 minute plod and once again, without a guitar solo. The last two minutes is chorus on repeat and I'm just wishing for it to end.
