1000% agreed which is why Stryker and Slvrsport are my fav channels they keep it real and dont sugarcoat anything.

At the price you got that case for after the trade in credit can't go wrong with buying a case even with the OC potential issues! Congrats on that BANGER just hope Topps doesn't take too long for you! I managed to get lucky pulled a green true Pena out of a mega outta 75 a few weeks back!

QC is so bad that even the redemption is off centered.
Considering the outlay cost that’s not great.

QC is way better on hobby, retail mine were bad as well.
I opened two mega boxes.. both had pretty good QC. Each box had both an auto and color. Matt brash debut refractor, kevin smith auto, mackenzie gore auto, and a pilkington gold lol... i did get a well centered purple julo as well.
Jackpot! Stryker hits again. My luck with Chrome Update was very bad so I'll have to pass on risking a case but I understand the thought process. QC on purple still brutal. Thanks for sharing! You're the best breaker.
I hope so! I just ordered 2 cases yesterday. In meetings all day so I’ll have sweat a little longer until I can watch the whole video.
At the current prices, it seems like a break even is fairly easy. 4+ base julios and Bobbys + Debuts. If half Gem then you're already there.
I was like screaming my head off when that Bobby Auto hit like it was my own. Great Case Break my man. This product usually leaves me mad when I open it but after watching this case break I think I may have to try again and exhibit a bit more patience, beginning to see the potential now. I was screaming my head off when I opened up a 2022 stadium club blaster box and pulled a Mile Trout on card autograph! I couldn't believe it!

@@StrykerBreaks Are you for sure sending it, or are you saying that on the assumption that QC is fine? I ask because I hit a Chrome gold wave auto Wander redemption, but it arrived off-centered so I've been debating on whether to send it to PSA.
Haven't measured it, but I expect it to be worse than 60-40.

Loved the rip and congrats on the monster! You mentioned either sending in to Topps for replacement or putting them in complete sets. Topps told me that it will be at least 8 months to replace my true blue Julio from update. So idk if that helps your decision or not lol
Nice pull with that Bobby. I pulled the same redemption a couple months back. Haven’t heard anything on it yet, still pending.
Jeff McNeil had the best batting avg last year so that’s a nice pull

I’m trying this same exercise two times over. Ripped one case and am prepping my PSA order now. Ordered a second case with a $280 MVP buyback discount.
One word of caution: the Generation Now cards aren’t in high demand. I gemmed up a Bobby chrome GN card, and it sold for only $21.50 through a big consignor with lots of eyeballs on it. The Julio probably would be worth trying, but I’d tread lightly with anyone else.
how much you end up paying for it and were the results (pre-PSA grading) worth it? Curious to know.

Pulled all 4 Julio Rodriguez cards in One Box All Star base, both purples.not the best centering but what a Box.
Just ripped a couple boxes hoping to get a couple good purps…best pulls were a generation now julio…not a decent base rookie to be had for the PC…rough rough rip

Hopefully they redeem soon. I submitted a gold Oneil Cruz auto from this product a couple of months ago and currently waiting on Topps. Gotta figure they'll do it at some point since a sticker auto. Here's hoping for very soon!

I pre-ordered three of the mega boxes from Target, I was able to pull an O'Neal Cruz gold auto redemption, plus I got a bonus auto of Ron Marinaccio.
Gold Bobby auto redemption sold for $910, definitely a big hit!

I just bought a case of this to stash but now I want to rip it. I have only ripped one box and got pretty lucky on QC and a Gold Auto so I figured I should just be 1 and done. Got my PSA order back as well. Great Video!

Fun rip! I've been thinking that this set keeps dropping it might be worth buying a case to open now?? You got a few good cards for sure but are other cases as good or better?? 2022 Heritage High Number is a very good value right now as well.

Well, good luck getting your Bobby back from TOPPS. I pulled a Mike Trout redemption parallel and they’re trying to make me pick a sub. Their team will pick according g to eBay and “Beckett” prices for something similar…. Wrote them and said give me my card I pulled.

I know they probably don't have as much value, but those are the type of cards I like to collect.
Congrats on the huge rookie gold. Insane one there. I’ve found QC on the hobby just as awful as retail. Just one of those products. I suppose it will keep the pop count under control on the good ones because I’m sure you’re right that they produced a bunch of this.

Stryker, how do you decide which cards to grade. Do u look at what current PSA values are and decide? I’m guessing grading fees are $18 per card, so value increase must be at least that amount to make it worth it…right?
I just have a feel for what ones are worth it. You can look up comps, but if you want to be early then there won't be any comps so you just have to know which ones will hold value. But yeah they need to be worth more than the grading fees or at lease break even if you get a 9 to send.
after figuring in grading fees it seems reasonable it was at least a decent risk. Great video though

What a frustrating product. Could have been an all time great rip. I nickeled and dimed a bit but certainly didn’t get my money back. Gem’d a base Julio which helped.

TCU always has sticker autos because it's a late season scramble release. Not enough time to get them hard signed.

I think 2022 chrome update will be extremely collectible in high grade in a decade as it will have natural rarity like pre-1980 cards die to QC. PSA 10's will be a rarity.
