That was a style back int the 70’s and the 70’s was know for some wild fashion
Throughout the 60s-70s, Wolfman Jack was one of the most famous radio DJs in the US
70s-80s. Wolfman jack and the midnight special did not air until the 70s. And it ended in the 80s. Proof-i have every recording from 1970-1980. Also you can buy the tape.
@@LamarMBarnes I never mentioned The Midnight Special, or TV at all. Before he was ever on TV, he was a radio DJ on Mexican radio, with one of the strongest signals on the continent. He started in the 50s, and continued through the 70s
I remember
I'm from Ohio and proud to say we launched some of the best funk bands ever! This is just one of them!
Even as a kid in the late 80’s I heard of Wolfman Jack! He would howl on the air and was a huge star as a radio DJ and personality.
Wolfman Jack was huge
Glad to see The Midnight Special getting some love. LIVE music. The
only live music television show. All others were lip-sync and very annoying!
That show should be a national treasure. Nothing nowadays comes close. How many artists nowadays play live instruments ?
I am late the list party but---Hon---you babies who weren't around in the 70's don't know what you missed! These guys, EW&F, Funkadelic---they were amazing! So tight. So professional. And Suge---dang. He was so cool. Not one egomaniac in the bunch. Just fine fine musicians.
"I ain't never seen no outfits like this!" The 70s were a trip.
Or maybe Andre 3000 was channeling the Ohio Players' 'fro & hat. #GotMeFunkedUp
best intro guitar riff!! the way he mixes it up is so cool. on the studio version at least
Those are The Lockers from Soul Train on the 70's. Rerun ( Fred Berry) from What's Happening was one of the dancers.
Get Ready!!!!!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Another 70s classic
The one guy with the funny voice reminds me of Cameo's Larry Blackmon in their song Candy
it was featured on Beaves and Butthead
but it was done by the red hot chili peppers
The Afro over the eye.
Andre 3000 definitely stole that look from him !
If you like this song check out another band that was just as Huge in the 70's Earth Wind & Fire "Let's Groove" and "September"
The original covers of lp! Are a greath surprise 🤩
A fast food TV commercial in the U.S.
Wolfman jack is famous commentator from 70s..
I know this song. It's sounds like a 33 being played as a 45.
Check out the cover of this song by The Red Hot Chilli Peppers
Final destination 3
Not bad for some Bucknuts.
