It was between this and the Stihl 560, but I think I'll go with the Stihl based on the throttle. Husky has successfully taken the thing that makes the human hands so versatile and dexterous and removed it from the equation in actually stabilizing the machine. There's a very good reason why firearms have triggers that require the use of the index finger rather than the thumb: control.
Husky all the way. Way lighter, better speed better feel longer tanks. 2 year warranty. No better saw made then the fx 555. Over two decades at it. I've tried them all...
OK, what when it does not start? Ran for one hour first day out of box, second day 100+ pulls and nothing. Yes I have the damn manual, tried cold start with choke, 20 pulls, squat; choke off, 20 pulls, nothing; pull and pull, nada. After 20 minute break with machine in bright sun in 80 degrees F, pull and pull no choke, nada. Do have to take it up on plane to troposphere to start? I have had Husq chainsaw many years, learnt start tricks, warm start after refueling very difficult. Manual absolutely useless, swearing in Swedish ineffectual, best to just set it aside couple hours. Manual makes you feel you must be an idiot, Yar it start secondish pull ja? After maddening hour spent figuring out harness have not patience for manual anyway. And NO HELP.

No idea why they did that. After a few hours that thumb joint going to start stressing.
Great feedback
So awesome! That things sounds amazing especially at idle.
It does!
Great review on the 555FX Josh! What a great clearing saw.
They’ll take down the pines
I love my Husqvarna 522 and 525LST trimmers 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Good to hear!
@@carlsmowerandsaw 😁😁😁
Can't get blades for the thing.
555fx vs fs561. Which would you choose ? 🤔
I would say it’s hard to go wrong either way. What one has the best support in your area?

I would say something is definitely not right there. We don’t sell a ton of these but I have not had the struggles you have. I’m sorry
