@@BostonGirlBakes It's OK! And thanks for your reply - it proves you read our comments. The scones (we pronounced them SKONN in the North of England!) were superb, and I ate 7 in one go!! Saying 'Go Ahead' is a US thing, I guess. At least, you, like, don't like say 'like' like every like few like seconds!
@@BostonGirlBakes Yes scones (usually pronounced SKONS here!) are everywhere and look similar to your 'biscuits'. But ours are usually circular and in some parts of the country (South West) are eaten with clotted cream and strawberry jam. Devon puts the cream on first; Cornwall puts the jam on first! They 'fight' over which is correct! Check out Mary Berry's recipe, books, videos, RUclips etc for HER version. Mary B is the most famous TV Cook here - even more famous than you are!
@@malacca1951I love that every place their own way of doing things! and clotted cream and jam sounds amazing!! I love Mary Berry!!! Her recipes are wonderful! (I’m a huge GBBO fan 😊)

Great dessert
thank you!
If you want to freeze, do you brush heavy cream on top before freezing or you put it on before baking frozen scones?
I brush it on right before baking - but it can also be omitted and just baked as is. 😃
