Nice cover! Have you ever thought about doing scroll-by tabs in your videos? Those types of covers tend to do quite well and they‘re really convenient for learning. Might be too much effort tho, idk
Great job on the tabs and covers of the new Architects songs. One thing I wanted to mention is that I'm pretty sure the majority of these songs you have in Drop B are actually in C# Standard - you'll notice you haven't gone below the 2nd fret and it makes a lot of the chords easier. Animals definitely is as I've seen Josh play it online and would imagine the others are the same. Don't think they have really used Drop B in years, it's always C# Standard or the C# lowered to G# or F#.
They actually use Drop B a lot Frank! Holy Hell was in Drop B, Animals is in drop B as you’ve seen Josh’s Instagram. I’ve read they decided to play in a different key so it fits Sam’s vocals better but They still keep 2 tunings on the whole new album which are Drop B and Drop B with low G#. Maybe I’m wrong but the way it sounds doesn’t feel like open notes! Let’s come back to this comment when we know! 😁🔥
@@RobinLeneutre you know what you're absolutely right on Animals - my mistake! There were a few on Holy Hell in Drop B (Holy Hell the song I think) but thought the vast majority weren't. I'll bow to your judgement as your ear will be infinitely better than mine on picking up an open C# compared to a second fret Drop B. Might watch some live videos and see if we can spot something conclusive on other songs!
I think we will get to see these songs played on Instagram posts before live shows unfortunately haha! I remember watching the live show from the Albert Hall and watching the guitar parts on Dead Butterflies which was played as a drop tuning! But yeah we should just wait and see haha! Maybe I’m so convinced I’m right that I’m wrong 😂 keep me updated if you know more 😀
