CA: Creates an extremely badass Intro for the Sea People invasion.
Also CA: Doesn't add Naval Battles
No one likes naval battles anyway.
Good i fcking hate these
@@CavemanBearPig People would like them if CA bothered to put some effort into them after Shogun 2.
@@CavemanBearPig you maybe, but I do
@@BenjinWS which gunpowder titles were made after Shogun 2? What more variety or effort could you expect from naval battles?
Conspiracy in Bronze Age be like:
"What? Unknown people invading from the Seas? You must be joking!"
The Sea Peoples were the Bronze Age equivalent of the Mongol invasions in terms of their impact.
"But everything changed when the sea people attacked"
this joke mean "nothing changed"
Ca: trailer/cinematic for sea peoples.
Also ca: you cant play as them.
You can play as them....................... In the upcoming $25 DLC.
@@todhold2673 and they wonder why the game failed.
@@lastchips7638 seafaring by the late Bronze Age in the eastern med had taken a downturn because of catastrophic events like the Thera eruption and also a gradual decline in trade. Therefore most of the big players didn't keep large fleets, which is exactly why the Sea People were able to exploit open seas to attack at will. The only obvious instance of naval battles would be the destruction of Ugarit which was supposedly attacked by sea, however most of the major battles happened on land after disembarkation with no naval resistance. This is before we even get into how real the Sea Peoples even were and the extent to which the term meant they came from the sea or whether it was just a name approximate to 'foreigner' or peoples from across the sea.
cough DLC
This aged like milk 😂
Let us see how they will deal with hundreds of chariots...
Actually, dealing with Chariots was the specialty of the sea peoples and is partly what made them so dangerous, it was the use of the bow that primarily allowed Egyptians to defeat the Sea Peoples.
@@LucidWanderer yes even in game they have badass melee infentry my elite medjy troops is having hard time against them only royal archer and royal guards can deal with them
Another infinite doomstacks antiplayer bias mechanic ? Like if Huns doomstack was a good one in Attila ...
Nope, they are actually quite weak and mostly roam the map aimlessly until they find a Big army
Gotta love how they made the of the bronze age basically just brown Vikings.
Unlike Vikings, Sea People really wore lots of horned helmets
You realise ,many natians were sea invaders right ?
@@indrickboreale7381 and unlike vikings, bronze age meditteranean ships didnt look like this
Technically their confederation of different peoples from the seas
Either due to migration movement or the weather patterns
They began attacking and rating alongside the remainders of civilizations thorough destroying itself in civil wars that rebellion
@@CinnamonTroll246The Egyptians depicted the ships of the Sea People on their temple reliefs looking like this.
we wuz vikins n' shiet
Learn your history 😊
@@deusgr on netflix?
i dont had an cinematic as the sea invasion started
My ancestors.
How do you know? We don't really know who the sea peoples were...
@@s.w.4409 Yes, we do know at least who some of them were. At least a few were Mycenean Greeks, while the Sherden were from Sardinia and the Shekelesh from Sicily and possibly Southern Italy. Others might have come from Anatolia following a famine.
My ties are most likely to the Shekelesh.
@@settenovetre
Ah, the shekel boys
@@wikipediaintellectual7088 they were even circumcised, says the Stele of Merneptah
@@settenovetre
Uhuh. Tell me more about your ancestors' penises.
I hope that there will be a DLC about the Assyrians, Babylonians, Hebrews, and Persians! Greetings from Mexico!
Well some of that was just added actually dunno if you knew
They all look like Joe Rogan clones xD
What a shame that we didn't get sea battle or at least landings
this looks like a mobile game ad
they say the sea peoples are proof Atlantis was real because of many factors.
1. every coastal city in the Mediterranean has been seen to be abandoned in favour of fortified settlements in mountains and hills with a vantage point overlooking the sea.
2. it is said the sea people came with civilians and solders most likely after a cataclysm searching for a new home.
3. it is said in Assyrian and Egyptian texts that when the sea people arrived they arrived on huge warships with technology unseen by Mesopotamia civilisations.
4. they were considered so powerful and numerous only half of Egypt and the capital of the Assyrians was left standing after the invasion ended.
5. with the power vacuumed caused by the sea peoples the rise of Persia began.
0:42 please do anyone know the name of the music
Is that the same voice actor as Wulfrik the Wanderer?
Over three times as many people have seen this video at 17k views as of writing this comment November 1st, then there was playing the game at its peak 21 days ago.
*Que Vince McMann crying and asking the recording to be shut off meme*
Oh yeah, am African dude on the ship. And where exactly was he supposed to be from?
Likely a slave. Nubian/Kushite slaves were not uncommon across the Aegean; those who didn’t earn their freedom and return to their own lands may have had children with other slaves (or in some cases, their Master's Wives or Female servants). Generations of exclusion from other Africans would eventually children of such unions to sire offspring with traits more typical to the people of the lands their ancestors were brought to, and eventually a person with a Nubian ancestor could be indistinguishable from other natives of the land, much like how some Americans with Native Ancestry present more European traits from subsequent generations of marriage with the Settlers.
This is Unbelievably Anticlimatic . They tried making a Warhammer trailer using a Historical Total war . The Tone is WRONG .
???
There aint no way...
Such an amazing cinematic wasted by being in Pharaoh (Total Troy Hammer 2)
I bet you the guys who made this will get fired some time soon because of the game's fail, and the execs who keep burying the games are going to keep on it.
You mean Atlantis? Sea people lol
Yea I'm sure they called themselves the people of the sea.
We don't know what they called themselves. Egyptians just referred to them as "Sea People." We don't know where they came from, what culture they were or anything. All we know is that they invaded Egypt from the Mediterranean and it caught them off guard because at the time they didn't even know people lived out there
We know little about the sea people besides from writings by Egyptians at the time talking about them, and the sea people had no known form of writing for what we know so they couldn't have named them correctly, find actual reasons to hate of CA like their greedy rather than minor details like this
@@mutedunknown2734 yea they couldn't know there name but its dumb too assume they would call themselves by a describe name that made sense to everyone but them. That would be like if Indians in America where calling themselves indians or even native Americans way back when .
@@Fairenough642 the whole Game and trailers are from the Egyptian POV, also inside the Game they use the known names (that the egyptians recorded) not "Sea People"
people who defend CA :
1- they haired you to do so .
2- you are blinded and don't know a thing .
3- a bot .
4- don't like for the games to be better
5- acting smart.
i have question, are the sea people Atlantean or what, who are they
They did some DNA testing and the Sea People came from parts of Greece and shores of Turkey. They did exist and they basically helped lead to the Bronze Age Collapse (they were not the cause but just a symptom) It's better to watch a documentary about the Bronze Age Collapse or the Sea People. Atlantis is real but it was based on a real civilization and event. They were called the Minoans and the event is known as the Thera Eruption. Again you're better off reading or watching a documentary about it's far too much to put in youtube.
No .. The Sea People are a southern European alliance that migrated from Europe to the Middle East, most of them were Greeks. The reason for the migration was the explosion of one of the largest volcanoes in Iceland, which spread black smoke throughout Europe for years. Because of that, there was a great drought in Europe. After that, some southern European tribes united to migrate and chose the Middle East. They overthrew large and small kingdoms and were defeated by Egypt, retreated, and settled in Palestine. They built the Canaanite, Philistine, and Israelite civilizations. Now they are the same Palestinians.
ancestors of the Palestinians
Yes ruthless baberians
No thanks
The tw:p animations are really comical but realistic typically like the ones from shogun 2. I really like the theme they were going for.
