The joys of playing with only 2 people is that you can separate the the pots and pans into pairs so each player gets both. This only works until SOMEONE takes the spices every time and you're sitting there waiting for them to respawn while Player 2 is happily chowing down on 2 plates. Excellent video!
The intro to this video is almost not parody. I'm not even joking, I actually really enjoy the cooking segment of this game. I look for these kinds of things in games.
Bro…..the time, effort, and dedication to accuracy you put into this video has hands down created thee most comprehensive guide to cooking this game has ever seen. The developers should be eternally grateful for your contribution. I know I am.
I really did put alot of time into it, really appreciate you taking the time to check it out. Just felt like I had to finish the tutorials series on a strong point, since cooking is the real game after all.
A friend and I recently got into Dragon's Crown after knowing about it for a long time but never playing it, we have been having a blast with the game so far and I looked at this guide series every now and then to get some more info on stuff that was a little confusing. My friend and I were shocked about the cooking game and how robust it is. It really is insanely fun and the true "meat" of the game. They were surprised the cooking guide was nearly 40 minutes long! Thank you for the all the helpful, in-depth information on the game, it's really aided me and my friend!
I recently got back into Dragon's Crown a couple of weeks ago and let's just say that it really sunk its fangs into me. And goddamn why does food in Vanillaware games look so damn good. I have to eat something whenever I finish a session of Dragon's Crown.
there's also feed the dps style of feasting where everyone just loads food to the dps of the group and eats whatever leftovers from having too many cooked and ready food at once
Awesome vid. Thanks for helping to explain how this system works, I had zero idea of the complexity. The second half of this vid almost feels like ASMR!
thanks for the comprehensive guide, I've been binge watching your other dragons crown vids as well. Do you have any other tips for beginners playing the game for the first time, like what to avoid and such?
Hey thanks so much for takin the time you see these vids of ours. To be honest one of the biggest pit falls is playing too much. The game gets real addictive when you start chaining those dungeons. Make sure to take breaks, we reaaallly hecked up our hands when we first bought this game cause we just kept goin in. Lets see, try not to get too attached to your gear till you get to lvl 99, cause as your levelin up your gonna be swappin out gear alot. The real game doesn't begin till you open up Inferno Difficulty. Whenever you start doing Labyrinth of Chaos and later Tower of Mirages, its good to prioritize getting through a room over killing all the monsters cause theres SOOOO many floors. So if you see a door you can go through just take it. If we can think of anything else, we'll add it to this section.
@@hsien_jo7354 man don't tell him to play less, the game is dying as it is without you telling people not to play and you're seriously telling him to be one of the dash through the game guys?! That dashing shit is so irritating. Dude, don't be a dasher, I'm pretty sure 90% of players hate it! Except other dashers lol. I been playin this game nearly every day and have been since it released on ps3 in 2013. Dashing through is fine if you're max level, think about it, the more enemies you defeat, the more treasure you pick up, the more levels you gain. Don't forget to search the backgrounds with your cursor when you see a sparkle, every little bit helps! I mean in the end it's up to you how you wanna play but if you're gonna dash through the game i hope you don't join my game lol.
This is easily one of my least favorite parts of the Dragon's Crown experience. It's just such an unpleasant experience trying to cook and eat as much food as possible using the game's unwieldy analog stick control system. Not to mention that every time it's time to cook, all I think about is just going back to beating up monsters. It's all the more frustrating considering just how powerful the buffs you can get from getting the most out of your meals. As such, cooking is not exactly a part of the game I can ignore. I wish Vanillaware gave us an option to automate the cooking process but at the cost of getting less effective buffs compared to someone who does the entire process manually. If this game ever comes to PC, I really hope we get mouse and keyboard controls so that we can do cooking with a mouse. EDIT: Also, thanks for this guide. I never really bothered to figure out what the best recipes are and the math behind all the buffs in all my years of playing this game. So this video is a very useful resource to have.
Happy I could help with the guide, and yeah cooking was very frustrating at times, especially before the PS4 touch pad was a thing, when Villianous Vita users could just make shyit happen with the Force and shyit.
Hey what does hard mode all change? I wanted to stay on normal but on my second time fighting the dragon I didn't restore the god jula, and all the bosses were really low level.
Sorry bud, irl stuff been kickin my ass, havent been checkin my channel for comments. You probably found the answer, but its mostly Base level for the dungeon monsters/bosses, and the exp gain. The higher the difficulty, the higher the enemy levels, and the more exp you gain from doing stuff. Theres more stuff to it but thats the main stuff.
Only Villians cook on PSVita......, jk me and one of my dungeon crawling buddies were wrecked by another friend on Vita cause the touch controls are too good, this was before PS4 Dragon's crown had the sorta ok touch controls added.

Hi there, Very well done guide thanks for Sharing with us your knowledge. I have a question if i die i lose all benefits buffs? I know you lose the health buff but what about atk def and score? 🍛🍲🧆
Sorry for the wait, had to bug the Dragon's Crown discord for this one, but yeah you keep your buffs until next camp, even if you lose life points and continue o/

Your videos are all so good. Thank you. Seriously. These help onboard people so SO much better than I ever could
Happy that we could help, also its really cool ppl are still actively playing this game, its so timeless

Where can I find people to play with? Game seems dead now.
Cool
Long time comin, but its finally here
I wish i didnt have to fight against the stick drift on the ps4 controller to optimise the cooking
Was playing this online last night for the first time and when we got to the cooking I was so confused. Quit the game after running through 3 dungeons
