Hey man i just started this game for the first time but i kinda don't really get into it cause i think i'm playing it wrong or missing something. I die a lot (level 20 now) and i hardly feel motivated to contonue playing after i got the request to find those 9 items in the world. I just wanted to finish the storyline tbh. I'm constantly out of gold, i often don't see where my character is, my ai allies dying a lot too even they are one level above me, especially with fire on the ground. Maybe i was wrong to pick amazon first time playing. Can you give me any tipps how the game is more enjoyable? Maybe you can do a beginners tipps video for the game? I kinda wanna choose the elf but i already spent like 11 hours into the game with the amazon and don't wanna restart it :( I also just skilled whatever i felt like cause i didn't knew the skillpoints are limited.

Levitation is bad both for wizard and sorceress you can only teleport on ground leaving you more open than you actually thought. Also damage wise going in and out with teleport while leaving damage constants like firewall or tornado while mixing it with high volume range attack while managing mana(you can only concentrate on ground) is way better than anything you can do jumping around. For fire just get immune to burning accessories.

I recently got back into Dragon's Crown a couple of weeks ago and let's just say that it really sunk its fangs into me. And goddamn why does food in Vanillaware games look so damn good. I have to eat something whenever I finish a session of Dragon's Crown.

I returned to playing after 12 years. I lost my 700+ hour save game. In 2013, I had a gaming partner named SuAzrael. The guy was completely insane and helped me get very far in the game.

A friend and I recently got into Dragon's Crown after knowing about it for a long time but never playing it, we have been having a blast with the game so far and I looked at this guide series every now and then to get some more info on stuff that was a little confusing. My friend and I were shocked about the cooking game and how robust it is. It really is insanely fun and the true "meat" of the game. They were surprised the cooking guide was nearly 40 minutes long! Thank you for the all the helpful, in-depth information on the game, it's really aided me and my friend!

ha! I knew slide was useful! One cool thing about slide is that mounts instantly become tame if you knock them down and slide makes that really easy. This also takes them out of the fight as well without having to whale on them repeatedly. Maintenance was also a skill I liked since, if RNG was on your side, it's fun to see your character use a crossbow like a gatling gun. Also I thought evasion also made it so that you can phase through attacks more often. Since sometimes when you evade through an attack your character will flash white but other times they'll get hit anyway. and of course Nutritionist, it's simple but effective.

How do level up the supplemental for the deadly boots, I can’t seem to get it to level up higher

This is easily one of my least favorite parts of the Dragon's Crown experience. It's just such an unpleasant experience trying to cook and eat as much food as possible using the game's unwieldy analog stick control system. Not to mention that every time it's time to cook, all I think about is just going back to beating up monsters. It's all the more frustrating considering just how powerful the buffs you can get from getting the most out of your meals. As such, cooking is not exactly a part of the game I can ignore. I wish Vanillaware gave us an option to automate the cooking process but at the cost of getting less effective buffs compared to someone who does the entire process manually. If this game ever comes to PC, I really hope we get mouse and keyboard controls so that we can do cooking with a mouse. EDIT: Also, thanks for this guide. I never really bothered to figure out what the best recipes are and the math behind all the buffs in all my years of playing this game. So this video is a very useful resource to have.

Hey what does hard mode all change? I wanted to stay on normal but on my second time fighting the dragon I didn't restore the god jula, and all the bosses were really low level.

If Sorceress is team's mom, then Fighter is dad, Amazon is cool aunt, Dwarf is uncle and Elf and Wizard are children. Wizard is big brother and Elf is little sister.
