Is there a better method of either detailing out , working from top to bottom or layering the entire drawing and detailing as you go? I find myself jumping around the page a lot, not sure if that’s bad

This is what real portrait art looks like. No magically rendering a photo realistic face out of blank paper because the outline is traced with a 5h pencil and hidden with light.
There are some artists that doesn’t trace it, but constructs with from the bottom. Although, I do agree with ya.
I have noticed that your style has changed a lot, it's more vivid and dreamy now, it's more smooth.

@Queen Nikki it's true, there are more than one, but I've never seen such style before on this channel, so either they got a new artist or someone of them evolved their style.

Is it possible to get upload in the normal speed to be able to learn from it?
You can still learn from it at this speed. Just try to focus more on the shapes and how light afects what you are drawing. But if you want you can lower the speed in the configuration of the video. Set it at 0.25 and mute the music.
You may play the video at slower speed, right?
@@linke4090 That's the first thing I did :). I like to learn by observing the strokes, the smudging. To see how it done. By it's impossible in this video, it's too glitchy on slow-mo. Great artwork though.

и быстро и точно,где то 1 час у него ушел,хорошо рука набита карандаш maries 14b,ластик lotory,бумага не фактурит.в россии идеально гладкую найти сложно,в класической папке бумани для черчения попадаются полухорошие листы но это всегда два последних листа и то если перевернуть.

What is the thickest pencil that you use ? Can't find it in.your list. Is it a Sennelier's black pastel ?
I guess it may be woodless charcoal pencil. Or my bet is, it's blending stump dipped in Compressed charcoal
