Do u cook the pie because you got egg yolks in it if you use cool whip ?

I tried this but used whipped creme for topping. My pie was a little runny, I put in fridge as soon as I finished. Not sure what I did wrong.

I’ve never known that you could use whipped cream if it’s going into the oven
