We love TEA so a visit to a famous Ceylon Tea Factory was high on our list of things to do in Sri Lanka ☕️🇱🇰 This video shows how to get there by local bus, and gives some fascinating facts about this delicious beverage. We stayed in Ella for 5 days to really explore the beautiful countryside. Hi Mandy & Tea, Interesting day out for you guys at the Tea factory & hopefully it was worth going there. I can easily picture how parfumed the place must have been. Brits can thank the Portuguese Catarina de Bragança who first brought tea to England. Personally I'm not a fan of tea, I'd rather prefer coffee or herbal infusion. Catch u guys later, take care 🙋🏻♂️

It's so interesting to learn the process how you can get from a freshly picked leaf to export quality tea so fast. Thanks so much Catarina de Bragança 🙏🙏 I know a lot more Englishmen who are forever in your debt as we cannot live without our tea. 😊 I now have an urge to visit all the main tea producing regions of the world to compare their products. 😊 Now there's a nice challenge. 😁 Have a great week. It was an unforgettable experience and Raja really did make it special for us. 🙏🙏 It's given me the desire to explore more of the world of tea as I enjoy it so much so hopefully we will get the opportunity to return and visit more tea producing places. 🙏 I thoroughly enjoyed walking in the surrounding countryside. Hello Walter 👋 So glad you are enjoying our videos. 🙏 Sri Lanka immigration wasn't interested in seeing an onward ticket but they were at Air Asia check-in before boarding the plane. I think it could be a problem with the airline if you didn't have one. We know of people who use those ticket agencies where you 'rent' a ticket for a short period to avoid this. Haven't done it ourselves but it could be a solution. 🤔
