Throughout the video, I will highlight key styling and unique differences about the vehicle, any available options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast car video without the good ole engine portion with rev and exhaust note with interior and exterior perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

I've had 2 Cayenne's, a hybrid and a turbo. Great vehicles. The Macan seems very similar but has a more aggressive sporty look. I think I might take one on a test drive..

As a Car Enthusiast, I was really not that impressed with the Macan at first, now after watching this review (as well as others), I like the Macan a little more, but I would appreciate if Porsche will update it for 2018/19 so it'll compete better with the upcoming Audi Q5.

Hey Kyle. I don't understand why people are hating on you for reviewing expensive cars. Expensive cars are the most exciting. I think it would be boring if all you reviewed were fords, chevs, dodges, Toyotas, nissans etc. BTW your channel is the best on RUclips for car reviews. No one ales can seem to get them right. Keep it up :)

More beautiful than the Cayenne even if it's smaller

As someone who has driven Audi's most of his life, readers will be surprised to find my take. It is fair to say the Macan is by far the best luxury compact SUV in its segment. By comparison, the Audi Q5 3.0 (V6) offers 272 hp with an exterior and interior that dates back nearly six years (with some minor refinements). The Macan S has underneath its hood a V6 twin-turbo producing 340hp with a base price only slightly higher than the Q5 (49,900). The PDK (Porsche's double clutch transmission) is far superior to Audi's traditional 8-speed transmission. The gears transition quicker and smoother. One look at the vehicle's interior and you'll be reminded by the benchmark of sports cars (the 911). The combined effect of sport and luxury is magnificent. If you are in the market for a compact luxury SUV, the Macan is the optimal choice.The hurdle is getting one as they are (rightfully so) very difficult to come by currently at dealerships.

***** Hey Kyle, Not trying to critique, just wanted to let you know something. There's three ways of opening the tailgate. The rear wiper mount has a small button under it that will power it open if it's unlocked or the key is near. It's something not many people know. Love the review and love the channel. I've been subscribed for 4 years (I think) now and have loved watching the collection grow. Keep up the awesome work.
I plan on getting the non-turbo model as soon as mcdonalds starts paying 15.00 an hour LOL
Great review! Great job, man. Super cool car. Went on the Porsche website and did the build-your-own Macan car configurator. The Macan is absolutely BEAUTIFUL in the 21" 911 Sport wheels and with Impulse Red Metallic as the exterior color. After I factored in all options I wanted, I was looking at an MSRP of around $87K. This Macan is much cooler than the Cayenne. Must buy, if you're in the market for this category of Crossover Utility Vehicle.

The base price for the "S" is $49K if the only colors you want are black or white. Gotta love that Porsche options list!

This is a thing of beauty from every angle. Appearance-wise Porche got this spot on. If it were possible to get the unparalleled interior trim and finish levels of that (otherwise hideous) Bentley Bentayga married to this car it would be damn near perfect in every possible way. I still love it just as it is though.
Every time I see this on the streets my mind immediately goes "Oh so Ferrari finally made an SUV" then I remember the last time I seen one it was just a Porsche

25:20, there is another way to open by pressing the button on the rear wiper which is a smart feature.
I love how when he films a Ferrari or a Koenigsegg people will comment how much they loved it and yet this $50,000 SUV is where people complain about how he doesn't film main stream cars. I like his videos whether it be a Toyota yaris or a Bugatti Veyron.
In case you guys didn't know, the macan s is also a turbo it just has 340 horsepower versus the turbo's 400 horsepower
There is a cuv with nearly the same accleration as the macan (bmw x4 35d).
And the GLA 45 AMG which is just as fast, but a bit smaller (derived from the A-Class)
Good review. Nevertheless I still prefer the Range Rover to any luxury SUV on the market because they really look and feel nice and luxurious and Range Rovers are pretty exclusive.
I drove and owned German vehicles of every manufacturer for 20-25 years before buying a truck for utility. Plan on buying another German vehicle after this one is paid off, as a second vehicle. In my experience and opinion nothing drives, sounds or has the build quality that Porsche does and will purchase one in the future. Good review.
You can also open the rear hatch by a button under the wiper housing on the rear window. A very nice review though!!!

Another great review! Oh by the way, since The name Macan is derived from the Indonesian word for tiger, if you want to pronounce it like Indonesian, the word 'c' is spelled like c in 'chocolate' or simply like 'ma-cha-n'. Sorry for my bad English. I hope you can barely catch up what I mean :p
My top requests are (when available) the 2015 Mustang GT and Lexus RC-F (and RC350)
17PSI? Not bad for a CUV. Also, the BOV would be amazing if it were a tad bit louder. It's a bit hard to hear, but it has a nice sound to it.
Hey Kyle. You have showed the smart key access on many, many cars now. I think that instead of putting it in the video every time, do a major video where you show how it works on different makes. That's my opinion at least :)
Not sure about Porsche but in my audi the revs sound different and the spool up is more when you do it in neutral with the handbrake on versus park mode.
Still a amazing SUV for me to buy one Kyle.

The thing about German cars starting to make cars with "affordable" starting prices is that their base cars are very bare bones, so then you got to option them up and single options can cost thousands! So in the end like this car is probably going to cost $100,000 because of pricey options.

Winston Oko I'm not sure how you can say that and see the videos I've uploaded this year. I've uploaded classics, economy cars, older late models, icons, cult classics, exotics, muscle cars, SUVs, Trucks, etc. You must not be following my uploads, but then again, I have no way of knowing that. What you don't realize is that I'm just one guy, you have no idea how hard it is to juggle everything from traveling, editing, filming, etc. When I travel out of state, I cannot upload. When I am wrapped around my personal life and responsibilities I cannot upload. What I'm trying to say is that I always give 110% of my abilities when I'm able. The fact is that I would be a fool to pass up opportunities to film rare an exciting cars to film something anyone can walk down the street and see. I will ALWAYS upload a variety of exciting cars that have a story to tell. I have built this channel from nothing and now have over 570,000 subscribers. I think I've done a pretty good job. It's not about affording them, obviously I can't afford most of them, but it doesn't take away from the fact that it's fun to check out...

Maybe you have already addressed this, but why is it that the boost gauge indicates 0 PSI when given revs? Is that due to some driving mode?

i have a question, this might sound stupid, but lets say your car is standing in your drive way and your door is only 5 meters away from the car, you put your keys on a table and the car is in the range of the key, so a thief can come into the car and drive away
