    Another great interview. Eric’s son Andrew sounds as if he’s more comfortable in front of a camera. Growing up in a digital world seems to give young people a more relaxed flow when given a chance to narrate. He was biting at the bit to speak while waiting for an opening and his father Eric to hesitate. They have built a beautiful aircraft and done a excellent job. The wiring is well placed and organized for people who have never performed the spaghetti task! Could you do a follow up when they go to flight test? I didn’t see any engines or props in the hanger so it maybe a while, or did I miss something? Take care Bryan

    The kit is similar to zenith as far as shipment and fuselage. I like it

      Similar until I saw the price! I'll stick with Zenith lol. I have a garage to build.

    Yeh... I'll take the nice Husky in the background ....if I had an extra 300 grand.
    As always a nice video.

    I gave the video a thumbs up, BUT I gasped out loud when the dad stated that they will have $165,000.00 in THAT aircraft!!! I am a licensed airplane pilot who has owned, solely, three light aircraft(two tricycle gear and one tail wheel biplane) and an ultralight that I built from a kit) I admire those two men for their industrious endeavor, but to spend 1,000 hours of labor and that much money on a non-certified aircraft...that also has NO cockpit to protect the pilot(s) from the weather AND those thousands upon thousands of dollars invested in avionics plus TWO engines to maintain...is beyond me. To each his own, I guess. Just in case they are interested...I have several acres of unimproved, mountain-side land in North Carolina that they may want to take a look at and purchase when they visit that instructor in South Carolina.

      I think they are over priced myself lockwood should get back to the OG Dirfter they made and sell those kits alot more folks could afford that kit I picture most guys buying 180K planes tend to be a carbon cub or a branon something along those lines I'm not thinking a slow twin rotax plane designed for camra work

    • @henryh.489
      @henryh.489 2 года назад

      @@zackriden79 $180k won’t get you a carbon cub… but I do get what you’re saying. You can get a lot of airplane for $180k, but it would be different. The air cam is really a unique plane, with the dependability of the two engines but the cavalier open-air glory.

    Major envy going on! I SO want to build my own plane, but the economics of a fixed income precludes any hope. Enjoy it while you can.
