  • EAA’s AirCam, built by volunteers in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Young Eagles program, is nearing completion! Flight testing will begin in spring, and once complete the aircraft will fly Young Eagles out of EAA’s Pioneer Airport, and support EAA photo missions. Look for a story on the AirCam build in the July issue of EAA Sport Aviation magazine.

Wow, what an extremely cool project that you were doing there... This plane , the Aircam is a really good design as well... I really like the stability of it, and the use of the twin pusher engines for safety , Excellent ROC , STOL capability, single engine performance, excellent visibility for both the pilot and co-pilot, reasonable cruise and vne, impressive ceiling and range capability... Just a really nice, safe plane design.....

Kudos to all the grass roots volunteer builders , ditto Dynon.
Thinks... if this were done as a highschool project , all the schoolkids builders could get their multi rating n some multi time in their own project!

It is spring. So flight testing will be starting soon, I assume.

TheDarkKnight350 don't worry, it's coming along nicely. I've been volunteering on that project for almost 2 years.
