For all the talk of Lister's bowling, Horsham's batting looked pretty classy too - some really top shots all round the wicket - even an absolutely nailed reverse sweep by one of the tail-enders.
Thought the same regarding that reverse sweep from their no.10. They really do bat right down to the last. Horsham look a class side and could well win the league this year. The previous dominance of the usual teams seems to be broken
Tough day for the lads. Always a challenge considering Lister has represented NZ A against India A. Nice to see my favourite cricketer WoD back out there. Add in Adam Jones and this side would be unbeatable.
Hard luck guys, Horsham's opening bowlers were a class above with great pace and length. Their opening bat looked a great ball striker with uncomplicated technique. They look a class team all round.
Auckland's new gen on display, wonder how this compares to club cricket back home. Great to see some of our finest Jaffas in and amongst the village circuit. Ka pai.
Nice video. If that Lister does goon to higher honours, the little 13 year old can hold his head high. Played with courage and good defensive technique.
Don't want to point out the obvious and hoping to see better performances in the future and that the speed of your uploads could be comparable to that of Lister's bowling. Good luck guys
Who hurt the Horsham opening batsmen. The guys hits the ball as if he has a grudge against it lol 😂 I’m not sure that ball had shape left once he was done bludgeoning the poor thing!
Quite happy I play bowls these days ,these keen young quicks are very challenging ,Lister is very good ,doesn't waste much and bowls intelligently with real hostility
Not debating for one second this is a high standard of cricket. Some quality batsmen and bowlers on show. But from what I've seen this year some of the fielding and catching has been abysmal
Not rapid. He'd be a bit above the 130 mark (80mph), but he shapes the ball away from the righty which is uncommon for a left armer, which makes him a unqiue handful to deal with.
Whats the matter Horsham.......Cant get enough locals s to play so you need to get an overseas player. I suppose it makes them feel good about themselves !
declaration cricket, the format of cricket varies depending which league you go to, in Kent its standard 50 over cricket with a red ball, I guess Sussex do it differently
A bowler using his sunglasses to blind the batsmen??? :-) Tough luck, their batting was too good for your bowling, and their Kiwi apparently better than yours.
Firstly Luke, yes we did miss you all at the Bridges. However, its great to have you back. No chance today with Mr Lister bowling all those short bouncers. Was surprised the umpire didnt warn him. However, if Horsham want to play their cricket like that, its up to them, but they wont make alot of friends. Of course their batting was good, and the wicket was made for the team batting first. Still find it strange that a team passing 300 still uses up their full allotment of 58 overs. Could have come unstuck if Bridges had batted normally. Alot of draws taking place in your league and the EAPL because the team batting first seems scared to declare and risk defeat i suppose. So, once again guys glad your back from your holidays. Your mate in Berlin...Dave
Crikey David, this is premier league cricket! I play division 4 in Berkshire and even we bowl bouncers in that 🤣 Catch up with the times old boy, kind regards 👍
@@stevebac1693 no problem. Just thought there were a number of short deliveries..EG. bouncers allowed per over lol. Hadnt seen a bowler for ages able to lift the ball from a length, twice as high as the pavilion

Max fines for Will for both
- the sunglasses
- bowling in the sunglasses

And now has actually represented New Zealand as a full international
He just played Vs Pakistan

I enjoyed the umpire giving out the caught and bowled
Cricket and Crimewatch at the same time …. love it! Nice to have you back btw.
Some very questionable actions on show for Bridges with the spinner, definitely a chuck.
Nice video. If that Lister does goon to higher honours, the little 13 year old can hold his head high. Played with courage and good defensive technique.
He has played 7 T20Is and 1 ODI for NZ
Well done spotting that thief. How brazen is that. Hope you called the police
What is mid off doing every time a wicket goes down?? Looks like a right tool….
Tom Johnson opener!! Quality!
Should have stuck leaf blower man out in the middle against the horsham fast bowler. With no pad or bat.
Ozman is an u13 I played him the other week for Haywards heath
Look at 10:15 look at what that person closest did when he got out
Yeah what on earth was he doing?
He’s a good yard quicker than the rest
Even stuart broad thinks that lack of walking off after nicking behind is a bit excessive
Don't want to point out the obvious and hoping to see better performances in the future and that the speed of your uploads could be comparable to that of Lister's bowling. Good luck guys

Can't believe you didn't title this daylight robbery!
Lister carrying that bowling attack there tbf
The he’ll is with boundary . Is it for under 16s
Did I just watch O'Donnell walking off the pitch sulking that the pitch did something to cause his dismissal? Cmon.
left arm spinner deffo throws it
Honestly who nicks a leaf blower during the summer….always go for the sprinklers more money in them! Brazen twazzock!!!
Will o’donnel is not back😂
Great to see you guys back, and welcome back Will great to see you playing again at long last.
Is this the most recent game or one from a few weeks back? Bit hard to tell this year as not as many videos.
2nd of July
As an old club cricketer myself (many years ago now), I was timed at 86mph. I'm pretty certain that this guy is not hitting 85 🤔
Lister bowling the kind of length to test anyone’s mettle. Think I might have worn my arm guard and thigh pad.
O'Donnell must have been annoyed to get out to his Aces teamate. Never hear the end of it when he gets home, I would suspect.
Left armer looked sharp
That was a plot twist and no mistake.
New keeping gloves for Joe Walker what’s he gone for?
Looks our second team standard in Somerset

Far too kind letting that thief go...should have introduced one of his digits to the cylinder mower.
Old mate trying to scarper with the leaf blower in broad daylight, how did he ever think that he could get away with that, what a muppet !!!!!!
No ball everytime for Zahir
How quick is Lister? Looks too good for club cricket!
Yeah he looked sharp
It’s prem cricket not just any old club cricket though
Not rapid. He'd be a bit above the 130 mark (80mph), but he shapes the ball away from the righty which is uncommon for a left armer, which makes him a unqiue handful to deal with.
If you listen they did say he plays for Auckland to
Man ran riots through TBCC
Tutty the 🐐
Just me or does it look like osman is chucking it (no hate)
Whether Premier or not, another example of overseas “professionals” ruining club cricket.
Not a sniff near 85mph.
How much you paying him to play club cricket
When Neil Wagner retires I reckon NZ have a replacement in that Lister lad, he’s sharp.
Either him or the other opening left arm seam, thought they were on par.
@@josephwac5269 true, I wouldn’t have fancied facing either in my playing days

Three bridges had one as well.
Very late I know
Overseas players in local cricket ruins local cricket. As the word suggests, it’s supposed to be local not overseas.
They have an overseas aswell
Those sunnies are absolutely ridiculous.
Why would it have been a draw if they didn't take 10 wickets? And why were overs so odd?
declaration cricket, the format of cricket varies depending which league you go to, in Kent its standard 50 over cricket with a red ball, I guess Sussex do it differently
Geez you guys play on small boundaries... at least it looks like it from the videos.
Great production though.

85mph..i dont think so.

Johnson Bairstow did well, not sure about Will Ashley 'Four' Giles and didnt even see this overrated 85mph bowler
Too quick for you blokes. That was an embarrassing display
1.he’s represented New Zealand against India
2.you probably would not have oden any better
Who
Does Connor ever play overseas? 100% good enough
I mean he got 1 run caught at fine leg then preceded to get taken apart by the porky horsham no.3 so doubts over whether he’s good enough
@@danspencer6119 guessing your not allowed a poor game, may as well tell the England T20 side there all rested for the next games
Good bowling but he isn’t 85mph imo, 75-80 helped by a trampoline wicket
leaf blower thief couldn't make it up could you lol
What on earth is that bloke doing at 10:13???
How vulgar!! just spotted this, i hope he’s not being homophobic 🤨
What a stupid thing to do! I’d ban him from the league asap !!👍👍
let me enjoy the wicket.
it appears he’s mimicking oral sex to the batsman
Being a massive bell end. There is one or more at every club.
