What happened and what followed thereafter shows the resurgence of a feudalistic and patriarchal views of a few which unfortunately is flying thick and fast. Hope the saner voices prevail. The social media true is driven by individuals who have an insensitive mindset based on their ideologies or political affiliations which will prevent true and just dissemination of facts. Unfortunately the facts and fiction are hopelessly intertwined. The CM too must speak up and assure the young Women who are on the cusp of life and have bright ideas for their future. I am equally surprised that the University authorities(a Registrar may be) have not spoken visibly. Something has to be done and it should be felt to have been done by the average citizen. I have no political leanings and speak as a senior citizen mother of two sons and two grand daughters.
