This video was very nice on a big screen. Remember we are all traveling vicariously through you and I myself am truly grateful for your content. Buenisimo!
This is what watch vlogs should be about. No cynical reviews of the current release doing the press rounds or bollocks attempts to sell straps, etc. Just personal opinions of a shared passion with an absolutely stunning backdrop. Bravo.
Watching this episode is like watching the movie "Before Sunrise", where Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy just wandered around Vienna while talking about life, culture, art, and love. In the TTWC case, replacing Vienna with Venice, and love with watches. This is some truly interesting, unpretentious, totally impromptus yet rich conversations that could only come from a man with truly interesting life experiences and deep thoughts. Definitely the best watch channel on RUclips. Bravo!!
Hooked me in till the end and I am glad that you did. Totally beautiful scenery and music and I ve forgotten all about bloody covid so thank you. Nobody can top this. Its the best thing I've seen on you tube for a long long time. Maybe ever. I've been to that street with all the AD shops 3 times and never went in!
In addition to being the best, the most enjoyable, the best, and a whole plethora of other superlatives, this is also "the easiest" RUclips channel to watch - for so many different and varied reasons. Once again, well done and thank you.
I’ve said it before and it’s still true; every other watch channel is fighting for a very distant second place. Encyclopedic knowledge of watches is fine, but a thirst to live and enjoy watches along the way is infinitely better. Your number one in our hearts. And yes, you need to go vintage.
I agree with Scotty’s comment. You have the best watches and content. I love the way you walk around Venice and share your experiences. I am a big Rolex fan, as you seem to be. Cheers mate.
Every time I see your videos, I'm drawn back into my deepest memories of the two times I visited. First, when I went with my girlfriend. I proposed to her in the Piazza San Marco, and we got married a year later (unfortunately not in Venice). The second time I went was a couple of years ago, with our two kids in tow. Such a beautiful city, and I'm so happy for (and envious of) you! Keep up the great work mate.
Amazing times this 2020 lockdown but it will be a period I'll remember because of the best Timeless Watch Channel videos ... bringing us a sparkle of the beauty of Venice, talking watches !
Thanks for your ‘ramblings’ Oisin. I was lucky enough to travel around Italy a few years ago with my wife and kids as I celebrated my achieving one year in remission from blood cancer. Venice was my special place, for sure, I only spent three days there but fell in love with the place. Now as I unfortunately am confronted by a relapse, I find great heart in the vicarious wandering you lead me on.. not to mention the watches.. thank you so much 🙏
Thanks for the confirmation on JLC or Cartier. I sold my Cartier Tank this past summer and just last week I ordered a new JLC Reverso Classique as a Christmas present to myself. The Cartier was alright but it really didn't do much for me. Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso was always one of my grail watches. Oh yeah, great walking tour of Venice and the music and the final scene was perfect.
First of all congrats for your channel it is amazing. Great tips for watches of course but I kind of love also your suggestions on cigars, whiskey an wines. Just a few tips from a Milanese guy… Turin is of corse beautiful and you truly feel the fact that it was the City of the kings and all the Savoia stuff (though it was probably the most industrial city in Italy, Fiat etc.) however I am sure that if you would live for a while in Milan you would love it, its modern and entrepreneurial soul, its amazing liberty buildings, the capacity of re-inventing itself, the fairs (art, design etc.), the top restaurants etc. The perception that Milan is industrial comes from its origins and from the 50-70s it is now mainly art, design culture food and finance. Also: cigars I love the cubans and Nicaraguans of course, you should also try the “toscano” types and I’m not referring to Manifatture Sigaro toscano which is the most commercial one, but try the Tornabuoni ones, or the Amazon, hand made 3 or four yrs aged, the more masculine leather type of flavour, the minerality it kind of remembers me the Barolo Conterno and the scient of truffle, and finally since you like the Etna Rosso I would recommend Terrazze dell’Etna Cirneco (2006) which in some way it reminds me the Barolo. Best, E.
That was a very pleasant video. And that final night water bus ride with perfectly chosen soundtrack... man, I need to get myself to Venice ASAP. Thanks for reminding me
I love your videos! I always save your videos at the end of my day to watch. I can’t wait to get back to Venice. My favorite city on this earth. The Omega store has some decent selection there. I’ll be saving up my money for my trip back to Italy next year. Can’t wait! Best way to travel, see sights and bring home a duty free new watch. 😉
Fo some reason I really like this video, I have never been to Venice and this video was great. The water taxi, water bus, water ambulance, coffee shop. I was right there with you the whole time. watching
Indeed, Venice is a very special place, been there a few times, and love everything about it. It’s much better and can be seen in its real light in the winter when there are less tourist around.....Lucky man.
Probably the best thing I’ll watch on tv today... I’m a Brit living a few hours drive away from Venice in Slovenia...I was there last February just before the world changed...hope to visit more again soon. I live in Ljubljana which is very Venetian...as you say...why not? It’s an adventure and something different to the 9-5, TV dinners and early nights...
Love your videos! Amazing! Just bought my first Panerai today. Ended up with the Submersible 42 mm PAM 973. Have a couple of Rolexes and just wanted to change up the style a little bit. I wear my watches, and am looking forward to testing the Panerai. I also have a Yacht Master 40mm blue dial (126622) on order. My new found watch interest is blamed on you :-)). My interest peeked after I found your channel.....hahahaha. Anyway, looking forward to a Panerai video. Stay safe my friend and have a merry Christmas.
I'm Italian-American did my honeymoon in Venice (lol, now ex-wife but I have a wonderful son from the bargain) I'm a watch guy, hand press my espresso every morning, (have a distinctive memory of Italian white marble espresso bars where your coffee expertly prepared in a moment), drive an Alfa Romeo 4c-- but always also dreamed of a place in Venice, what's a good internet connection. Appreciate a glimpse into your world living that possibility, Keep up the good work!
My Wife and I spent some time in Venice during November last year it’s a stunning city and viewing your great video makes me want to return oh yes and I love watches as well thank you
What a terrific video! I'm a novice watch collector and just recently discovered your channel. I enjoy your horological opinions and reviews and this holiday-themed travelogue was incredible. Thanks for doing this. Stay safe.
Hello Oisin, I really love your different fine art Chanel, as I love Italia and watches too. Walking with you through Venice or Siena ( missed the fantastic floor of the cathedral ), taking watches and the Italian way of life, makes me feel home and in good company, especially because I only for two weeks in summer had the chance to stay in our house in San Baronto/Tuscany. One hour of holiday for me. Mahler puts the cream on the cake. Thanks for your passion you share with us. Best regards from Germany, Edgar.
Fantastic mixture of watches Venice Italy 🇮🇹 music, and fantastic film making . I just got lost in the beauty of it all . Like the green aqua terra beautiful 🤩
Once again you've outdone yourself Oisin. Your storytelling, sounds, and imagery is fabulous. Thanks for your work and the escapism is a nice break for everyone who can't get away and adventure due to the pandemic. Regards
Loving your channel. I really get a feel for the City during your walking around. Between COVID restrictions here in the States, working full-time and going to law school part-time, the wife and I have not had many opportunities to get around much so it's great to get a "tour" of Venice while also enjoying the hobby of watch collecting. Very relaxing indeed.
Excellent video Oisin! Truly one of your many Masterpieces. I love your Channel. Thanks for sharing your walk throughout some of Venice. Can’t wait for Part 11 to be released...Ed
Ah mate, was just shutting up the youtube shop, finishing my glass of red and ... "you pull me back in" 🤣 ... awesome tour and banter as always ... keep up the great work!
Fantastic channel. I collect the older watches but love the new ones also. I came across you by way of your Eddie Van Halen tribute and loved the story. You are very good telling a story, leaving out the fluff to keep it genuine. Very good content Oisin, CHEERS!
Amazing tour !! Well narrated as you walked and blended a bit of everything into this video, a viewer mentioned how good the channel is damn right at that!! Mind I was knackered just watching all that walking!! Buon natale 🎄
Oshin Ive been watching you live on Archies channel. I suffered a catasrophic injury and due to that I have struggles with mental illness and watch addiction. Your videos are so relaxing much more than $150 Psych therapy. Well done and love your good energy and vibe. Keep ata it my friend
Tout simplement, un magnifique moment. It was like if I was travelling and walking in Italie. I'm so near to Italy but with the covid, so far from it. And I had never though to go to Italy. But you with your different videos around Italy you made me change my mind. As soon as I can, I'll take a flight to go and visit this beautiful country. Thanks a lot.
Oisin, you're becoming more and more Italian in certain things, BUT I must say that take-away coffee is definitely not in our habits... Thank you for loving my Country so much. ;) Cheers! Marco
Having been in Venice this past March, your walk through just brought all those fantastic memories front and center, thank you. Stop into the Patek boutique and give Tomas my best. Well wishes and Merry Christmas.
Funny, you mentioning G-shock.After years of mechanical watches,I just bought the only one that doesn't seem too pig ugly or large. The GW-M5610-1ER will still take some getting used to,but is one of only a small amount of the Casio catalogue to have both solar power and multiband time/date reception and not form a huge carbuncle on the wrist.I had goose bumps when you walked down that dark alley near the music school, echos of the movie "Don't look now." The closing sequence was beautifully shot, thanks for that........................
Another great video mate. Get so jealous of the walking about in such a beautiful place! Reminds me of the times I have been luck enough to retrace those same steps; around San Marco; Florian's; "Spritzing"; taking waterbuses and generally drinking in the beauty of the place. Still maintain Italian coffee is the best you can get.
I'm a new subscriber and fellow watch fanatic. Your content is excellent and the imagery and camera work is exceptional. Love the rugged honesty and cool commentary about the human experience we are all going through. Cheers. -Craig (Manhattan Beach, CA, USA) P.S. I just picked up a brand new Rolex GMT master II root beer in rose gold case and rose gold bracelet...from an AD I know out in Palm Springs...
Years back I stayed at the Hotel Danieli. Would love to see how its looking these days. Maybe a good backdrop for a future video?? Nothing like viewers turning the channel into a travel vlog. lol
This video was very nice on a big screen. Remember we are all traveling vicariously through you and I myself am truly grateful for your content. Buenisimo!
I'm glad you don't exclusively talk watches. Good content.
This is what watch vlogs should be about. No cynical reviews of the current release doing the press rounds or bollocks attempts to sell straps, etc. Just personal opinions of a shared passion with an absolutely stunning backdrop. Bravo.
So true, mate!
I felt immersed in the city. Two thumbs up
Watching this episode is like watching the movie "Before Sunrise", where Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy just wandered around Vienna while talking about life, culture, art, and love. Best way I’ve spent an hour of a sleepless night in a while. Loved the tour. Thanks for the video.

My favourite watch channel nowadays! Keep it up loving the content
This is gold. Thanks for showing us these beautiful places while simultaneously giving us watch content.
How could you dislike this video ? So relatable.. like a walk about with a friend.. love it 👏
thanks...the trip through venice was a pleasure with you as a host
Strolling around Venice talking watches and music. Beautiful video.
I expected a watch review and received an incredible story of humanity. Thank you.
The ending made me cry. Beautiful and thank you.
The only watch channel where I have watched every single video.....often several times. Brilliant.
In addition to being the best, the most enjoyable, the best, and a whole plethora of other superlatives, this is also "the easiest" RUclips channel to watch - for so many different and varied reasons. Once again, well done and thank you.
Another great video. Sat down with a glass of red wine and thoroughly enjoyed your walk. Thank you for sharing.
Just blows every other channel I watch out of the canal. And yes I’ve just bought a bottle.
Bravo sir. Bravo 🙌
One of the best series on RUclips......imo

Somehow, you have made a watch channel about life... and we are all better for it. Thank you
An hour video! Bless you! I haven't even watched yet but wanted to say thank you for some much needed entertainment and food for thought!!!
Cold weather in Italy. Lots of snow in the mountains. That rose gold Panerai is a stunner.
Thanks for the confirmation on JLC or Cartier. I sold my Cartier Tank this past summer and just last week I ordered a new JLC Reverso Classique as a Christmas present to myself. JLC... “the watchmaker of the watchmakers”.
Just amazing. Thanks.
First of all congrats for your channel it is amazing. Great tips for watches of course but I kind of love also your suggestions on cigars, whiskey an wines. You'll love Leonard.
Thank you for taking me on the tour. Things are truly different there than in the US. And thats ok. Good stuff as always.
