    John I've watched all your scrap wood projects lately and this is definitely the best yet. This is the exact reason I never throw away scraps of wood. Keep up the great work and cheers from America mate.

    I have acquired 1-1/8” oak plywood that I’m going to attempt this.

    John, did you say you were going to apply sealer over the wax -? I think the sealer should come first and better to use acrylic sealer on plywood to prevent yellowing from cellulose sealer.

    When you're turning plywood you need to use a bowl gouge the whole time never use a roughing gouge it's very dangerous. Also if you want to go over the top you could make the lamp shade out of plane shavings, pask makes does it and it looks cool

    Nicely done John (again) 😁. Surely you must have run out of ply by now 😂🤣. You must only have enough left for a couple of pen blanks 😁. Quick question... what make / size of bowl gouge is that ??. I think I need to put one on my want list. Thanks John, stay safe 😁👍

    Curious as to why you cut the circles on the bandsaw when you have the holesaw you could have used on your drill press?

    • @JohnMcGrathManInShed
      @JohnMcGrathManInShed  4 года назад

      The holesaw has no teeth left it won't cut so I'm just using it to mark the pieces

      @@JohnMcGrathManInShed Ah, I see. I know what it's like to have no teeth left!
