Just a tip for the future bro cause your young and invincible but eventually crouching down all the time your going to run into hip, lower back(from carrying the boys all day) and knee pain by the time you 30 I suggest you start strengthening the hip (hip flexors) and knees. Keep it up

I've had a helper in the past before and let me tell you. As a detailer your giving that detail 200% and maybe on a lazy day your doing maybe 150% always 100% or more. So to have someone just half butt stuff makes your detail last longer. Keep striving for success!!! I’ve had to tell my helper 100x we have to pick up the pace if you don’t watch or tell them how much time they need to be spending they will just vaccum the same dam spot over and over again trying to kill the clock and we can’t be having that. Sometimes I feel like the detail did take longer than just me working it by myself

My own brother was my helper and he was a commercial cleaner for like 5 years he knows what to do but if your not on them like a boss and not a sibling or “friend” they will take advantage. “People only treat you how you let them treat you” is a great quote.

& especially in the mobile detail industry, it’s relatively a seasonal job and for instance the employee will try to obtain as much knowledge then try to do their details or even start a business
It’s part of the business. I’m sure I have customers who feel the same way. But at least he still details your vehicle. I’m starting to blow up and with the amount of calls and messages I get it can get overwhelming. You try to be fair enough to schedule everyone for an appointment who want my services as well. But if I have any advice for you just try and understand and be patient.

Everyone with a dark grey or black vehicle knows… if you don’t keep up with washing them at least once a week, they get dirty faster than any other color and show the dirt and grime more than any other color as well.

Modern cars use leathers with basically a clear coat on top so they don’t need conditioning or nourishing , the coating just needs cleaning and you can put like a ceramic coating on to protect it

I have a question for you on your maintenance clients...if there is "extra dirty" areas when you arrive to your maintenance client, do you tell them you are charging them extra before or after the detail of the extra charges, or does the depend on the client?

Keep that jetwash away from the bikes wheel bearings. Jetwashing the bike should be avoided, just use a low pressure rinse or mist and away from the wheel bearings. Plug the exhaust tailpipes with a bung.

Modern cars use leathers with basically a clear coat on top so they don’t need conditioning or nourishing , the coating just needs cleaning and you can put like a ceramic coating on to protect it

I have a question for you on your maintenance clients...if there is "extra dirty" areas when you arrive to your maintenance client, do you tell them you are charging them extra before or after the detail of the extra charges, or does the depend on the client?

Keep that jetwash away from the bikes wheel bearings. Jetwashing the bike should be avoided, just use a low pressure rinse or mist and away from the wheel bearings. Plug the exhaust tailpipes with a bung.
