Your Dad, "the boss", seems to be a man of few words but with a determination to protect his family by any means necessary. You two may not realize it yet but that determination lives in both of you too. Your work ethic is just the tip of that iceberg.
You Know, your story tells the love a father has for his family! Don't ever forget that, even when you get mad at him. Thanks for sharing. Happy Milling
After following your channel for a couple of years now I have cpome to really admire your faamily. The sermon on the mount, Matthew 7:7-14, Jeremiah 31:3, Psalms 57:2, Psalms 91 ,. I have learned that there is nothing a dad loves, and there is nothing a mom loves more than their children. Psalms 91, Romans 8:37-39. Deuteronomy 28, Mark 10:17-27, Matthew 5:17, Luke 6:46.

I remember that year and the years after. Bridges were out and working in the affected areas was a nightmare. The company I work for worked on the cleanup. It was the first time I had seen flood damage on tops of mountains. The story you tell about what you Dad did was heroic! The determination of saving one’s family is a force of nature.
Hi Emerald and Jade, a horrific story, and you were both clearly emotional while telling it......Tears don't easily come to my eyes as i get older, but they did on this occasion.........I'm so happy that you all got through this disaster safely......Your dad is truly a hero........Stay well. 😘
Floods are very scary events. The force of raging waters is unmeasurable, in a blink you could disappear. Very well narrated, thanks for the opportunity to see this disaster through your eyes.

Know and lived your story well. Live in Johnstown Pa. South west of you. Famous for three floods here that destroyed about everything. Your so right on how you never know unless you’ve been in it. And after the shock settles, the real work starts of cleaning and rebuilding. Had to chuckle about the smell of flood mud. Still get the shivers if I get a hint of it. So glad your all safe and strong. Bob in Johnstown
As a father I know how rare it is to have a first hand story of tragedy like this told from his children's point of view. Your story from your point of view is rare and priceless, a treasure to preserve for future generations.
Until you have lost everything except what’s on your back !! It’s hard to explain it to someone else I know from experience and hear that in your voice as you tell the story!!! You are truly blessed and you know it !!
I lived through a flood back in 1973 when I was 16 years old. At that time my family lived 4 miles from the Mississippi River. We ended up with 18 inches of muddy water in our house which doesn't sound like all that much compared with your experience but still did a lot of damage and required a total remodel of our house. While you were telling your story it brought up a bunch of old memories of the things I experienced during my disaster. As you said, water is extremely powerful and dangerous, and a flood not only does unbelievable damage but can take lives, livelihoods, and shatters your emotional well-being. Being faced with your mortality can certainly change your life. I too, remember the "smell." We began cleanup at our house by mopping the floor with bleach and then just hosing out all of the mud (I bet we did that 20 or more times). I don't think the smell ever fully went away and we took every wall to the studs in the remodel. Life is precious, and your story proves how much your dad values each member of your family. Don't ever doubt his love, you saw it on full display that night. Tragedy has a way of drawing families and communities together. I could tell you story after story of things that took place during that time in my life as I'm sure you can regarding this event in your lives. This has obviously made you stronger women and strengthened the bond of love in your family. I pray that God will continue to bless your lives as you will obviously continue to grow to become exceptional young women.
I understand your Dad's unstoppable determination. A man's family is his soul and no father would not give his last breath for that family he holds dear. This I know because I had to literally carry my 3 year old daughter out of the midst of a devastating cat 3 tornado and my only direction was dependence on God.. though much was lost, my daughter as well as myself were safe with just minor injuries. It truly doesn't matter to me what others think, Jesus has given us an inestimable gift by having access to God Himself through himself. I believe that is what kept and protected me and my young daughter, and as I reckon that is what gave your Dad the strength and direction to get you guys out.... As we may be father's to our children, then so is God to us... Matthew 7... Vaelin

That story was amazing. Definition of family right there. Your dad is an amazing man, he may be moody and you might not be able to ask him questions until the end of the day but he is always looking out for your family. Really happy you guys are alive! I can’t get over that and how that must of felt especially your mom with a one year old. God bless you guys and I’m so excited to meet you!
I am north of you in New York State. I lost my home in that 2011 flood. Water reached 4 feet shy of the roof. So I understand clearly the challenge you went through. Fortunately I got to high ground in time. My house was 85 years old and had never been touched by flood prior to my buying it in 2004.

Just came across your video. Can’t imagine what your family went through. I’ve subscribed. Now being 71 years old I took a nap soon after. I left You tube playing. I woke up to a beautiful piano playing. And looked at the screen to see who it was. There was a bible verse across the screen which accompanied the piano. It read “ When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not over take you….. Isaiah 43 : 2. Now that was awesome . That verse stayed there for awhile as the piano continued. Had to share that with you.

Great story, sets the stage for what you have accomplished since and in the future. You should write it down with quotes from each of you for family history. Date it and let your grandchildren read it someday.
Thanks for sharing your stories. I was wondering about the rain there in "meet the team" video. Keep up the great work y'all. The first time I saw the phosphorous moss was in Tennessee it was in a thick, high canopy forest. It gets really dark even when it's not raining. If you fortunate on one of your vacations at the beach you can experience tiny phosphorous baby jelly fish, the size of peas. Swimming at night with those glowing jellies is like living out some fantastic story book. Thanks again for bringing sunshine. Cheers!
I took me 3 times to watch this video it brought back scary memories to me, I survived being trapped underwater in my car in 1982. I tried twice to get out, water was filling the inside of the car up, I put my head down and said Lord help, my next conscious thought was that I was walking through water. I went to my friends house and he and his dad went to the scene and found my car 150 down the road with all windows up and all doors locked. Devine intervention? I'm glad you all made it out ok. Brian
Emerald looks the same , but Jade looks so young in this video. I bet Dad was livid, his wife and kids in danger. You young ladies are full of surprises, I am so happy the family made it out together and safe.
Wonderful story of your Dad’s courage and persistence for the love of his family. No wonder you all are so strong. Every child needs parents like this strong and loving Mom and Dad!
Cheers!
May God bless you all the name of Jesus Christ Amen❤
I took me 3 times to watch this video it brought back scary memories to me, I survived being trapped underwater in my car in 1982. I tried twice to get out, water was filling the inside of the car up, I put my head down and said Lord help, my next conscious thought was that I was walking through water. I went to my friends house and he and his dad went to the scene and found my car 150 down the road with all windows up and all doors locked. Devine intervention? I'm glad you all made it out ok. Brian
What a gripping story! It took a lot of courage to sit down and tell it.
Emerald looks the same , but Jade looks so young in this video. I bet Dad was livid, his wife and kids in danger. You young ladies are full of surprises, I am so happy the family made it out together and safe.
We had record flooding in Ferndale, Sumas and Everson WA this year. Thanks for your perspective on flooding and the dangers of not being prepared.
God Bless you. I'm so happy everyone's ok. It would make a great movie lol. You had me in tears.

Wonderful story of your Dad’s courage and persistence for the love of his family. No wonder you all are so strong. Every child needs parents like this strong and loving Mom and Dad!
Lost my home here in WV in the 1985 flood of the Greenbrier River. . Built back 9’ in the air and the 1996 flood went right under me. We called it “Killing Waters!” Your story is surely one of love and survival! You have surely matured into two strong young women! Judah is lucky to have two big sisters like you all!
Hail to the “Boss”!!!!!
