@@yamithegoat i figured out out. It's just that the buttons are small and subdued. You want to take her on a couple missions so she's happy for the day, then you either need her specific gift (ancient chess records i think) or there's this little grey button in the upper right that says gift exchange. You can turn other stuff into presents for her there.
