Congrats Sylvain 👍 👍 une centaine d’essais ton honnêteté et ton intégrité t’honorent ´ ça donne une idée de la performance d’Alex Megos qui n’aura passé qu’une journée sur la voie et aura envoyé la voie en trois essais. Je ne sais pas si quelqu’un a réalisé la voie aussi rapidement depuis bon le garçon envoie du lourd faut dire 😅premier grimpeur au monde à sortir un 9a à vue « Estado Critico » à Siurana en mars 2013 😮💨 😮💨 cela n’enlève rien à la performance des autres ayant fait cette voie et il ne s’agit pas ici de comparer un tel avec un tel tchuss ✌️ great send man !!

In France the guy who spends the money on buying bolts and glue and invests time and energy swinging around getting covered in glue, dust and crap gets to name the route. Hence - "biographie' ... just a difference in philosophies - whether one considers putting back into the community by bolting or being the show-pony that sends it more important. Often it doesn't matter because they are one and the same person.
Pour clarifier des choses... La coutume, en France, veut que L'EQUIPEUR nomme la voie, dans le monde anglo-saxon c'est plutôt le premier ascensionniste qui la nomme. Alimenter une polémique à ce sujet, ce n'est pas montrer beaucoup de respect pour les uns et pour les autres. Romain, je t'adore, en plus d'être un beau grimpeur, tu as l'air d'être un chouette mec.
Sharma added the crux 9a section to an existing climb called Biographie. Sharma renamed the route "Realization" one of the few 9's in the world at that time. A visionary climb but the Frenchies don't want to give him any credit and call it Biographie.
Well the full route was called Biographie but Arnaud Petit added an anchor in the middle to make attempt on the first part. And anyway Sharma said that’s just a piece of rock which was there far earlier than us and fighting to give it a name is not worth it.
