South Olympic Branch Update #89

This episode mostly focuses on my trip to NMRA regional convention in Surrey, B.C. My friend Steve and I went together. Alan and Chris rode with us for a Saturday afternoon layout tour. I visited Intercity Trains and Hobbies with Bob. While there I met Boomer from the Boomer Diorama channel.

That’s adorable and useful! I prefer quiet tools, when it’s reasonable to use them. I would rather spend a few extra minutes with a handsaw, than get out a chop saw and have to listen to that, for instance. So this would be great for tiny sanding projects, and for the precise work you demonstrated. Very cool!
