Abraham's Faith - John Lennox

John Lennox discusses the paradigmatic example of Abraham's faith: the moment that he believed God would grant him a child. Abraham and his wife were old and had no reason to believe that they were physically capable of having children. However, Abraham had good reason to believe that God is trustworthy -- and he acted on that knowledge. Christian faith is therefore not blind belief in the impossible, but confidence that God has revealed himself to be good, reliable, and true.
