I had this video playing in the background while i was playing a game, and it took me the longest to realize she wasn't speaking English. I thought she was, and I just couldn't understand her because of the music being loud, or the echo from the microphone. Dutch is an awesome language and I want to learn it!
here you go (translation of your comment ;-) deze video was op de achtergrond aan het spelen terwijl ik gamede, het duurde enige tijd vooraleer ik besefte dat ze geen Engels praatte. Ik dacht van wel maar ik begreep haar niet door de luide muziek of door de echo van de microfoon. Nederlands is een machtige taal en ik wil deze leren.

Never heard
of this band until this performance. But after the first vocals it was instant love.......
After leaving the tent stage we walked into the white noise of "Broederliefde". Can't think of a bigger difference in sound.
They should have switched stages imo
I love it that when she opens her mouth for the first time people are scared lmao. Greenday fans got some metal to their faces.

I was in front here, the guy in the white Green Day shirt and longer hair, you can see me singing along to every song there! But TCTF was recommended by the festival itself for the people that like heavy music. So yeah.
What does loving punk have to do with listening to Greenday?
They probably weren't expecting that type of power from her voice.
They really can bring it live, incredible performance.

Love this band. And never even seen pictures of her but Damn she's hot and she sounds just like the album when she screams. Most people sound different live when they scream. This is pretty cool. Always wondered if there were live shows from them on RUclips. Now I found it :)

It hurts to see such a dead crowd. They don't deserve to see such a great band.
I saw them live yesterday, it was the same thing because we didn't know the band but it was awesome, I wanted to do something but I didn't even know the lyrics xD They have real talent
Same feeling here. Most of that crowd was there to see Green Day though. They dont exactly draw a metal crowd. Strange lineup really. Its more the fault of the promoters.
They aren't really that known so yeah. I saw them at Appelpop (a free Dutch festival with a wide line up) for the 9th time. They played in front of a singer-songwriter, so they didnt draw that big of an audience, but they have some dedicated fans, and metalheads that go to the shows as well, which makes the crowd better, same thing goes here, but this is a bigger crowd, so most of them dont even know who they are.

There was a shit load of echo/reverb on her mic channel. So at some points it was difficult to understand.
It is Dutch. and since this show was from the Netherlands, I am pretty sure about 90% knew what she said
Im dutch and everybody understad it but the crowd looks awkward as hell
