We suspect it was an add-on that somehow modified the lau to a point where trying to load a game is no longer possible.

In these mods was a mod called “glue mod.” This was a QOL (quality of life) add on that made gmod “more realistic.” The creator, however, was hacked. He couldn’t log in, and his add on was hacked too. Later, he wanted to get his account back on steam, but steam devs rarely ever respond. He started screaming death threats to them and saying horrible stuff, and it is still unknown if it was him or the hacker. Moving on to the mod. When you loaded up gmod with this mod, it would show quite the opposite of QOL. In the backround, you could hear intense screaming of a man with multiple images of 🌽, naked figures, etc. etc. The mod now has been removed.

Some addon creator on gmod got pissed off by complaints about the mod so he put screamers and goatse images into his addons as payback Then he got banned and other creators started to do the same as a joke and its just been a cycle of madness
I’m one of the victims of the glue library hack so here’s an explanation. some dude got banned and he was annoyed, so he made a script that had insults so only moderators can see, and inside the script had code for a screamer exactly like the audio, and a goatse image. If you don’t know what a goatse image is, look it up with caution.
