- I've been watching Lamb Chop and his (slightly dubious!) exploits for a couple of years so it was a real pleasure to meet up with him in Spain courtesy of my friends at Toro Adventure. I love the whole vlogging thing that happened. The downside for the industry is that less people buy bike magazines. I pick one up in the shop and I've already seen the content 2 months ago on one of your channels.

Don’t think I haven’t tried James! RJ is a lovely fella but very private, we did talk about ways of doing the interview but in the end he politely declined...which is a shame but I entirely respect his decision.

I watch a lot of motorcycle related RUclips but I also look forward to reading my monthly Ride and MSL magazines, although I subscribe to the digital versions. However, the content of the magazine's have definitely shifted to the touring and accessories aspect from the technical and performance side.

Just confirmed what I thought; a proper decent bloke. I do think motorcycle print journalism is dead or dying and you guys are giving us the entertainment and information bikers want. Do you think because there is so much stuff put out for free there is less chance to actually make money as an employed journalist? Guess it's more down to ads, sponsorship and channel ad revenues.
I like to think you’re right Banditman! It does of course depend where the advertising £ goes - and I think the motorcycle industry generally is way behind the curve in recognising the value of social media - but long term it’s only going one way I reckon! Exciting times for both creators and viewers at the moment....

I have watched his first 2 toro vids and Ricky vida. Interesting to watch as they edit them from a different perspective. I even heard a swear word pass the tmf lips on the latest chops vid. Heh heh all good

There's a bit of a forte coming out there, TMF. Very smooth and easy to watch and your guests comfortable in their space. I'm sure you've considered it, but I wonder whether there's mileage in the longer chat (AKA Ben, ;-) ) with some of the round the worlders (logistics aside) such as 'On Her Bike' and dare I say it, the Boorman/McGregor thing which started much of this adventure stuff off for so many.
I'm sure there possibly is - you'd be amazed the number of people I've approached to interview and either had no reply or polite refusal.....not as easy to set these things up as you may think! I'll keep at it though, I love meeting the people I love to watch so I aint giving up!!
Really enjoy watching both your videos, faves are Lamb Chops KTM 1090 vid and your MT10 vid "can't even speak properly it's so impressive" ha ha

Every day and with each video you learn something new so it's got to be viewed as a long term project but it's definitely an amazing medium to be involved in...whatever you're into or level you're at. Yes 100% - I’m actually the same, in my other lives I have no creativity and although in my case it may not seem like it, making and editing videos is very much a creative endeavour and that’s what I love about it too...that plus it combines my hobbies (biking, photography, tech nerd)....
@@TheMissendenFlyer The one thing that I slightly struggle with is to narrow my interests into my channel. Bikes obviously a big thing but also sports and flying is another big part of my life but never quite sure whether that should be included in some fashion.

I seem to recall the Manager of Bahnstormer's referred to TMF by name as Andy in the comments section when they were trying to whitewash the saga of the £2000 GS 1200 rear shock fiasco. I have since checked the comments section of that particular video and I can't find any reference to his name now, just TMF ? I don't think I imagined it. Another video, this time one of his flying ones, one of the passengers voice is heard to say Andy but that could be my shit memory !

Mr Missenden or whatever he's called doesn't really matter, what does matter is his vids help to while away the long dark Winter nights when the Mrs is hogging the TV watching recorded episodes of Emmeroid Farm and other such shite ! Spring returns shortly, people will get their motorcycles out from hibernation, Motor Sport will return to TV and all will be well in the world for another 9 months. Can't wait, 😎.
