I really like Thundercracker for three primary reasons...
1) He's Blue.
2) His name sounds pretty cool.
3) He's one of the only decepticons I know who ever questioned the decepticon cause and in this one continuity, deviated from that and became a factionless good guy.
And got a puppy!
IDW Is the best
During Hasbro's live stream to reveal the TF '86 Wave 1, Hasbro stated that Thundercracker was the one who became Cyclonus. After you get Cyclonus, you can recreate the scene where Thundercracker gets changed into Cyclonus.

From where I live there's literally no Target. I had to buy it from a scalper in Amazon AND I have to pay huge amount for the shipping because I live at the other side of the world. It took 4 MONTHS. Thanks for making me go through that shit, Hasbro.
The Earthrise seeker mold is probably the only figure I like from this line. Very well-done figures.

My friend had already purchased these from target and I looked for over 2 months before giving up then walked into target one day and found 2 of them, both boxes were damaged but I didn't care Skywarp is the man! I missed out on the seige skyward that was the amazon exclusive. :(

Thank God Kapow Toys has these two in stock online at normal retail price. Made getting them in Europe so much easier.
The transformation way reminds me of the Acid Storm Toy.
What helped me get these was going to Target’s website, checking with a specific store, & applying for an email notification when they’d be in stock. A few days later, I got an email & rushed back to the site to order the set to be held at the store for me to pickup. Bada bing, bada boom.
Probably still won’t guarantee anything, but might boost your chances, to anyone reading this.

I love these seekers.
It looks like we are getting Galvatron and Unicorn according to the Starscream Earthrise box art (top of box and side of box respectively), on the top of the box you can see a tiny Galvatron floating around. Starscream's box art must represent when he jettisoned Megatron and the other Decepticon into space.

Good review Em. Yeah, I feel you about the exclusives and scalpers. I believe the key is patience - sometimes. I gotta share this, yesterday I went to a Target - they about 4 or 5 sets of these guys.
Skywarp has always been my favorite out of the three.

TF fans: Target occasionally has the TF WFC Earthrise Seeker 2-pack available to buy online. (Like mid-afternoon today, 10-20-2020.) Either a lot of people are looking at the Target website or the eBay scalpers have their shopping bots going, because the TF WFC Earthrise Seeker 2-pack went back to unavailable after I completed my online purchase.

Superb review, great set, have it preordered from Kapow, my only gripe is that Thundercracker should have been a bit of a darker blue IMHO.

Just picked these two up today along with hubcap.
I bought them on online from target a few months ago I love them
I own this set already and I love having the trio together
Thankfully I snagged one of the preorders on BBTS before they ran out, so now I’ve got these great figures
I got lucky on these, but not so much with the cone heads. From looking around online I'm thinking that a lot of us didn't have much luck with the cone heads. On a side note, if any of you are like me and have the Combiner Wars seekers in storage (tossed mine in the closet after getting the Earthrise set) you can use their weapons on the Earthrise seekers to beef up their arsenals. The CW null rays look really good on the ER seekers in jet mode. The PotP Starscream's null rays also work fairly well if you were like me and foolishly bought one thinking they would also release Warp and Cracker.
If anyone here is Mexican I recommend looking for the set on Amazon, it's on a great price

My closest target after I had my wife and good friends checking back when these guys came out took about a month to finally grab a set. Then about mid August they had three sets in the shelf until last week when there were two left lol so they are showing up now I expect everywhere in decent amounts. Between me and my there friends who collect we all each have a baroness also lol what I'm trying to say is don't is scalper prices they will show up and if you miss it not the end of the world. I feel we can't complain about scalpers unless we stop paying the prices they ask it's amazing that we as collectors can control the aftermarket value of whatever we collect so we should do it responsibly and not pay almost double or even more for items at retail
I always loved the planes (seekers) but I only had Thrust as a G1. I wish they would have brought back the nose and canopy loop-through transformation of the G1’s. i thought it was very clever but the new “screen accurate” modes these modern TF’s are very good too.

I wonder why Thundercracker doesn't have the glossy black paint on his helmet? His is semi-gloss.
I also wish they had some stripe paint on the tail fins like Starscream does but I might just add that myself, silver is easy to apply.
I would have preferred a darker blue on Thundercracker and a lighter purple on Skywarp to be honest, but I'm still going to get this set.
