Kat you are seriously one of my favorites to watch. You make me laugh. I started watching these videos because I have a serious spider phobia but I've noticed over the past 6 months it has gotten so much better.
I hear my OWs stridulate from time to time. Best "hissers" are H.dictator and C.schmidti however last month my B. hamorii for some reason went a little crazy threat-posing and stridulating. In 2 decades I have not seen a defensive B. hamorii and honestly since I focus on OWs I did not even realize that Brachypelma genus stridulates.
Genuinely scared of spiders but for some reason love your videos, the Tarantulas and jumping spiders are really beautiful! But man when that one hissed and I saw it’s long ass fangs I was literally wailing 😂
First we had the fungi “wars”, and then came the gummy worm vs. hornworm “war”. Can’t wait to see what the next tarantula RUclipsr “war” ends up being because you and Richard are hilarious!
OMG, that spooky devil Salem art is so cute! It has a little devil horns headband!! And the Chai stuff!! Someday I'll buy something from you when I have the disposable income!
You and Richard are hilarious. They totally are T Gummy Worms. We have hornworms all over AZ in gardens and right now I have a closely related whitelined sphinx moth (aka hummingbird moth) caterpillar from my yard in a cage so I can watch it grow.
I love seeing all the different varieties of the little lovelies. The skeleton one was really cool. I have never seen one of those before. Thanks for the videos.

Do you pinch the hornworm heads first? Just curious because they have a nasty little bite for a worm. I was told to pinch their head before feeding them to my bearded dragon.
Hi Kat! I always enjoy feeding videos 😁. I never had horn/ gummies as an option back in the day but I would feed grasshoppers and other critters I found outside. Baboon spiders are pretty hateful, lol. I had a very large female King (queen)? Baboon spider that threat posed and hissed at me every time I opened her enclosure. It was a cool way to make annoying company uncomfortable. Thank you for the video, I always enjoy them and that's why you're my favorite RUclipsr.
The one you fed before the curly hair one, it looks like the hornworm was biting it while it was trying to hang onto it so you might want to consider squishing the head with the tongs before you let go of it so they don't get hurt, idk if hornworms can bite them or not but that's just how it looked cause right when it looked like it but underneath the abdomen it looked like the tarantula used it's leg to get it's head out from underneath it and was trying to keep it from being able to do it again, if you rewatch it you'll be able to see what I mean and I could be totally wrong too that's just how it looked to me and I know with mealworms that's something you have to be careful if you feed them to jumpers so idk if it's the same thing or not

That’s pretty much what they do in the wild. Build a nest and wait for insects come to them. The males will wander to find a mate
