Well...I didn't necessarily watch that much mature-rated films as a 90s kid [Lion King FTW tho], but as I've grown up, I've appreciated the 90s so much for its great pieces of filmmaking. Even 1999 films like Matrix and Fight Club really pushed special effects forward. Also I never got to thank you for the Twitter source that looks out for available PlayStation 5s, and it helped me get a system some months ago.
I wonder what my Mum was thinking letting me watch so many haha! But I'm glad she did 😂 I was late to the Matrix and Fight club but definitely agree! Oh and no probs, so glad I could help in some way 😃
Hey mate! Glad you've recovered from the nasties. Great picks! I'm onboard with all of those except Silence of the Lambs. I really tried though! Read the book first and everything but it was not for me. Only now do I truly appreciate the work the Aussie TV censors did in cutting movies for TV at that time. I saw so many MA and even R rated movies that were cut down to an M rating for broadcast on TV. Heaven as a kid! I'd love to share more with my kids but I'll have to wait a bit until older for the best actions flicks and whatnot. 😁👍
Thanks so much, was a nightmare tbh haha! I remember renting out R18 films at the local video store as a 12 year old haha! Was so good 😂 I get that with Silence of the Lambs, it can be a slow one. I've always been into crime solving and serial killer films so it appealed to me 😬😆
Still can't get myself to watch Silence of the Lambs even after these so many years. The ones that I really loved as a kid and they're not on your list are The Fifth Element, Speed and Hook.
Hook was so close to being on this list!! Now that I think about it, it probably should be, it was one of my favourite films watching with my family! Speed is so good. I never did watch The Fifth Element though 🥲
Great trip down memory lane! Best movies for sure! And T2 is my all time favourite 90s movie 🍿
Thanks!! Yesss, T2 is just the perfect film 🙌
Great choices there - glad u got over the tonsiltas

I was hoping you'd sign off the video with Arnold's infamous "I'll be back".
Haha I was going to put it in during the T2 part but forgot 😆
