  • I can't believe my lucky finds today! That new textile cone measured 7.7cm (3 inches) while my previous one was only 4.7cm. Thanks for watching!
Let me know which ones were your favourites ;D and if you enjoyed this and want to see more shell finding videos, I'd appreciate a like or a comment. Thanks everyone!

I didn't even realise that this beach near me had such lovely seashells until I saw "Shellcade Shelling Down Under" - he makes so many awesome videos at this exact beach. He's inspirational and I really admire him, so please consider watching him too: / shellcadeshellingdownu...

G'day Janice 👋🏻💖 Oh my goodness, this is still my biggest and nicest Textile Cone; it was such an amazing find on this day!! This was such an early shelling adventure, I really thought of this as beginner's luck!! Thank you so much for watching 🥰

I also love Shellcade Shelling Down Under and he says the white Hebrews are usually the empty ones and the ones that are yellow are alive or super recently deceased🙂👍🏻
Great find with that Textile❤️It’s a beauty!!

Thanks Emily, I was so stoked with that Textile! Ooh, so that's how it goes? I thought the nice white ones were probably just the younger ones and didn't know that little trick for spotting the live ones. Thanks for that 🥰!

The elongated cowry at 2.38 is a Cypraea Caurica cowry pronounced "curica" I believe

Wow!every new shelling video that you post has new beautiful seashell species that I can't really tell but anyways that white and orange clam is probably a giant bittersweet clam and that textile cone is absolutely stunning (your textile cone has way better condition than my textile that I bought online months ago) and Triton's trumpet (because it's really rare)at the near end of the video was a big bummer that it had a crab in it (at least that crab had a beautiful home) and the gorgeous cowry might be an arabian and englantina hybrid anyways I wish I could shell with you Ms.Maddie! But we'll I'm pretty far away from Australia.

Thank you Homer! That was a really fantastic day, and my excitement level just went through the roof! I think I’ve used up most of my shelling luck for a while, my next few videos are going to have much more ordinary and typical shell finds 🤣 but I don’t mind, I’m just loving the beach and the video-making process. I needed to look up a “bittersweet clam” and gosh, I think you’re spot-on with your identification yet again. Thank you for that. The Triton’s Trumpet (I didn’t know the common name!) was so lovely; if I didn’t see it moving as I approached it, I would have accidentally taken it because that crab was so good at hiding in there! That crab had a million dollar mansion compared to the others! Aww Homer I wish I could shell at your beach too, it sounds like you get some awesome cowries where you live. I bet you’d find a nice surprise the next time you go shelling too ☺️.
