About your question- I do use the pencil board to write but I don't put it in the back of one page but rather a few pages- usually 3-4 are better. It makes the writing so much better!
I enjoyed your lovely haul! I also considered getting the very popular Mina Perhonen anemone cover. To me, the A6 one is much cuter than the A5 - I don't know if that makes sense. Those two that you picked are so beautiful! I hope you enjoyed your covers in 2023.
I keep thinking that A6 could work for me because I struggle with a Cousin but really what it is is that I shouldn't have dated pages for my journal. I also don't like A6 for planning, I have a B6 planner for next year that hopefully won't be too small. I also like the Weeks layout but THAT is also too small. I do have an A6 5-year which is nice because I can fit a whole day summary in one space. I tried A5 but it was so tough to keep up with. I hope your purchases end up working for you 😊
I have the same struggles. I want to be able to use them all, but the reality is that only the B6 seems to be my Goldilocks size. 2022 I’ve been consistently using the Japanese B6 Daily Franklin planner. Hope you’re able to find what works for you. 😊
I don’t use a planner but I do journal and use a work notebook. For the new year I am using a B6 for work because A5 is just too big, but A6 and B6 Slim are just too small. B6 is the sweet spot for enough room to write while still being pleasantly portable. I am using a B6 Slim as a diy 5yr and it is the perfect size, plus an A5 as my journal. Just goes to show every size has its place! I love that I’ve learned about all these sizes over the last year.
Personally I will be using the A5 5yr as a 9-10 year family journal when I get married. If I was truly using it as a 5yr I would probably get the A6 because it would be too big otherwise. For my personal one I DIYed in a B6 slim to be the perfect size.
I an nervously laughing with you. what if you use the small one to make lists of love and lists of grateful or showing lists of ppl you admire.. it is tiny enough to flirt with.
I love stiloestile as well! The a6 liberty cover is so pretty but I got different a5 because I use the cousin. A6 is a cute and easy to fill size but might be too small for some people. Depends on personal use for sure.

The holidays are coming up and you can give them as gift. You tried them so don't feel bad if it's uncomfortable. You may need to down size to the A6 5 yr and up size to the A5 cousin.
