I also met that pinky friend on my 2nd day and after our little *chat* the achivement popped up, then I realized It had to be rare XD ("Pinky has a 1/180 (0.56%) chance of spawning" according to Terraria Wiki)

I think there are some things that should have been mentioned and you have shown a little too much of potentially spoilery content at the beggining but this video still provides a good start for beginners 👍 The sad truth is that anyone starting out will probably need to search for sources outside the game to fully understand how some things work and what the game has to offer but at the same time it feels special to get into this type of game and have to discover a lot on your own
I love listening to guides while I play games. Its a bit relaxing to listen also u get to learn more stuff while playing other games. I play Skyrim and listen lot of guides but then I start listen to guide from other games like Minecraft and Terraria. Always lovely to hear it. And I have no problem with guides do some spoiling I have played Terraria and came good far not done any bosses but built tall towers and explored some dungeons. :) Tho would be more fun with friends but sadly I dont have one for that :( But yeah if ppl dont like spoilers they shouldnt had clicked in the first place. Just imagine getting a new job and the instruction is guiding u through but then you plug ur ears coz you dont want any spoilers. Yeah that one way to get fired.

Its kinda crazy how terraria and Minecraft are some of my all time favorite games, yet ive only had one really good terraria world and that was almost 10 years ago in middle school, on my ipod 5th gen lol. Minecraft ive beat so many times yet something about terraria captivated me so much that one world was enough for me to cement it as one of the GOATs. I’ve recently gotten back into minecraft in making my first hardcore world and its going pretty good, now i want to revisit terraria and see how i will do. I was somewhat experienced and I got 2 friends to buy the game. It was me and 2 complete noobs who had 0 idea. One of my friends found the dungeon and I said nothing... it was very funny. Also my other friend likes to collect flowers and she found that special flower in the jungle in hardmode (it took us a very long time to get to this point so she already kinda couldnof expected something to happen) anyways she is now a lot more carefull. Also she likes to collect bugs. Well she doesnt anymore after something happened in the hollow biome...

So when i realize it later, i just redo it all again, deleting the character and the world. How can I not do this again?
Choose a specific class you want to play as for each character you create and fully stick to it. You can have several characters and worlds going at the same time and just progress whichever one you feel like playing at the time. That way you never have to completely start over again until you finish one. I always have several separate playthroughs going.

My only experience with terraria is playing the old demo on ps3 as a kid I’m here years later I just bought the game on steam on a sale and this guide will be my introduction into the game ✌️
I do hate one thing about terraria, and that’s the fact that in classic mode or lower, most bosses are absolutely useless, especially the early boss, where by that point of progression the things it drops aren’t that useful anymore. Also, a quick tip, though it is only sometimes useful, is that fishing (though sometimes quite boring and hard to get lures for) can be a decent source of early game loot! (The umbrella is also a decent item that will help you throughout most of the game, just not as a damage tool, PS: read it’s description).
2:15 sry but in my opinion, crimson is easier, there aren't awful worms coming out of ground and doing 2 hits til death to you and the boc doesn't have ranged attacks like eow, and you get ichor items way faster than in corrupted worlds. Their weapons are also stronger at attack but idk if their dps is lower then... And the crimson rod is profitable for more bosses than just 1. Some points are referred to expert mode cuz classic is kinda boring for me...
I would have liked to not have the visual spoiler of that flying rainbow lady thing ! would be so cool to come across and have never seen before but, it's also likely I'll never see it in-game anyway, sooo, also appreciate the spoiler in seeing such a site! hah ohhh which preference, to contemplate...but it's already a way so, acceptance
I never saw the appeal for this game, but friend gifted it to me this christmas so i decided to give it a shot. Is it best to play vanila or go straight to modpacks? (for example i dont like minecraft vanilla but i do like modpacks for it)

Journey mode is the ultimate mode because you can have Expert and Mastermode in the same play through if you want!
Plus you’re still forced to play the game to unlock the unlimited items so it’s not just a normal creative mode. I love journey mode!

Uhhhhh. A good start would probably be not deleting your character and starting a new world whenever you get indecisive.

I do hate one thing about terraria, and that’s the fact that in classic mode or lower, most bosses are absolutely useless, especially the early boss, where by that point of progression the things it drops aren’t that useful anymore. Also, a quick tip, though it is only sometimes useful, is that fishing (though sometimes quite boring and hard to get lures for) can be a decent source of early game loot! (The umbrella is also a decent item that will help you throughout most of the game, just not as a damage tool, PS: read it’s description).

2:15 sry but in my opinion, crimson is easier, there aren't awful worms coming out of ground and doing 2 hits til death to you and the boc doesn't have ranged attacks like eow, and you get ichor items way faster than in corrupted worlds. Their weapons are also stronger at attack but idk if their dps is lower then... And the crimson rod is profitable for more bosses than just 1. Some points are referred to expert mode cuz classic is kinda boring for me...

Is it best to play vanila or go straight to modpacks? (for example i dont like minecraft vanilla but i do like modpacks for it)
