the volume on all WhatCulture stuff is recorded too loud, results in compression and tinny audio. they need to back off 30% on the recording volume. it's really obvious if you go from a Wrestletalk video to this that they don't have a tech person working there
Honestly been looking forward to these NXT reviews more than any of the others, that is aside from the Preview shows in which I would really like to see on RUclips if at all possible. 😄👍
It’s obvious Sidgwick doesn’t enjoy watching half the wrestling products on tv, Maybe he should call up Wrestletalk and see if there hiring since I think he would fit in better with them, although I think he likes the travel perks and being able to goto America for wrestlemaina, and the odd AEW pay-per-view which he would never be able to do working for Wrestletalk.

Hamflett for example, prefers WWE, is fair about AEW. Sidge should do the same, but he can’t/wont. And it annoys me because it ruins my enjoyment of the pods, so it’s not about my life etc 😉 I wanna hear his honest commentary, not his biased one cause AEW ain’t doing well.

I love the Dadleys, I adore Sidgwick, he was right to criticize WWE in 2019,2020,2021,2022,2023 and even 2024. But I miss the Fun Sidgwick, who used to enjoy wacky NXT 😢

Not because he's wrong - I agree with some of what he says - but the energy and the smugness is insufferable. Sorry, there's grumpy and there's unengaging and this was the latter. Just whining, even when the actual critique wasn't inaccurate.
Perez’s promo made no sense. The title wasn’t even taken off of her. She wound up defending it at Stand & Deliver last year and she lost it. Nonsensical.
He is right about a lot. I watch wrestling with my phone in my hand. Hardly anything makes me put my phone down and pay attention. Doesn't mean I'm not entertained, Nxt is barely about wrestling these days, gone are the black and gold days.
Also, we're nearing critical mass. The whole of NXT runs 2 hours with commercials. This podcast was 1 hour 27 minutes. We're getting to the point that they're talking about NXT more than NXT is talking about NXT.
I don't believe a word of Roxanne Perez, she sounds fake and rehearsed, I don't buy her as an actual threat to anyone despite her little arm stompy segment last week. 🤷♂️
Roxanne Perez is a good wrestler, but her promo skills are on the same level as Natalya 😅 I think you hit the nail on the head, overly fake and rehearsed.
