Are more Coaster cars going to be refurbished into the new paint scheme?

Yes, that's their plan for the future. I don't mind these changes, since at the end of the day we the railfans don't have a say in how the company goes forward with their operations. It's entirely their choice and we the railfans should respect that, since we aren't true railfans if we don't.

@@MichaelB450 You here that the Cabs 2301-2310 don't have pull chords anymore. They've all been replaced with push buttons. Awesome video as well :) I think NCTDs new paint scheme looks really nice love the SC-44s too!

the nice paint job on the cars for coaster. will they get new cab cars like metrolinks?

From what I have heard/know. The cab cars are getting refurbished/updated, so they could look like Sounders cab cars in the end. They also supposedly have an order coming in for new Bombardier cars (including cab cars), not sure how many exactly though... Those will be based on the Sounder design.

They got some new cars. The old ones still need a paint job.

It seems like every commuter agency is getting new power... except for Metra, still using 43yr old F40s...
