He played this last year at the Midwest Catholic Family Conference and in place of "won't buy you a home in Beverley Hills" he sang "won't buy you a home in Wichita hills". It was cool but there really any hills in Wichita, KS because Kansas is one of flattest states in the US.
I saw Matt in concert, and he was amazing, this was like his forth song... and when this song was over, it started to rain, since it was an outside concert, rain wasn't a good thing. But we all just waited it out, and then the concert continued. I just think that it is funny because he says "Make us a shelter to whether the storm" And then it rained. God bless you all!!!
i think this song is great cause its the real gospel.. sometimes i think people dont believe jesus because he wont buy them a house in beverly hills or fix thier problems.... this song reminds me of that story where jesus is talking to the sick man at the pool. the dude thinks this water will help him and jesus is like dude what do you want.. i love it.. matt you are so old school

My 8-year-old daughter Alexandria and I are going to sing this song together as a duet in 2 weeks! I love listening to her sing worship songs. We know all of Matt Maher's songs and sing them together in the car. He is so inspiring.
