I love the vanity. Abby uf you move the trash can to the other end cap you could fit a really pretty coffee bar cabinet. Some have upper storage to hang mugs and bottom storage as well. You could put the coffee maker in that and you wouldn't see the cords.
Sharon here.... Love the jewelry / vanity table. I have a small table that is off balance and found the little stick on felt pads for chairs and tables worked great for balancing it and you can't see it! Great idea to use table cloths on the plywwod for easy cleanup. See you next video! 👍☺❤
One thing that I think you need are some Roman blinds it worries me that you don't have any privacy especially at nights . It might help in keeping the cold out aswell.❄️❄️❄️
I agree with you on this. At night it seems like they are just on display for all to see. I understand they live in the Country but, your right about help keep the cold out. It makes the house look unfinished.
The vanity is a beautiful piece. I love in older homes when things are not "matchy-matchy". It gives the feel of history and acquiring things for your home over time.
hi Abby, was so happy to see you again and that was a great idea to use table cloths! I would move your vanity closer to your window so it’s not so close to your white cabinets/drawers…
Oh Abby that vanity is so beautiful. It was worth the drive and also thinking thinking about Mom and Dad pond for ice skating ⛸️ picking up skates that was very thoughtful of you. Your a good daughter Abby. I have to tell you, I do miss seeing Jay's beautiful shy smile. Please tell him Hello from this viewer😊... Great idea from a viewer to cover the ply wood as looks nice until you get the counter top in. God bless you and stay safe, oh also miss seeing the kitty's ❤🙏
Oh you sweet girl, another old phrase is All good things come to those who wait! Stay positive and continue doing what you’re doing. LOVE that table with the mirror above it! Bless you and your family 🙏❤️
I know that you were pretty much done with all your electric, but you could put a recessed outlet box and that way your coffee maker could go flat against the wall❤❤❤❤
Abby, have you seen the new wall sconces that don’t require hardwiring and you use a remote for the bulb? I think one on each side of your mirror would look so cute and leave more room on your vanity.
I named your home and pray Abbys Stonewall Cottage and Gardens is blessed forever. Great job, incredible design, wonderful to see the excitement and happiness you earned from hard work well done! Look forward to the Gardens....
Great to see you! Keep thrifting and just "layer" things you love and it will be homey before you know it! I love the picture your friend gave you. How thoughtful!
I love the vanity. I recently got one just like I’d always wanted, I need to recover the bench once I decide what color I’m doing the bedroom. Jay needs to make appearances from time to time! Tell him he’s missed!
I love the vanity, and I love the mirror you hung above it. "You can't beat that with a stick" is a phrase that is often heard in the south. I have no idea where it originated from.
Just watched your Mom & Dad latest blog from yesterday. Good to see Jim had some real fun.I jealous. My latest "fun" was skydiving during the summer. Oh it was a blast. 😊
I have an espresso machine just like yours. I have a placemat under it to it make it easy to pull forward and push back when filling the water and beans. Then you could put the machine closer to the outlet above the countertop.
I also have shelves above my coffee maker - but the steam it created was dripping down the cord- and directly into the outlet! So I pull it away from the wall while it is brewing, then put it back when done.
If you can find a decorative pot for your plant in your bedroom "Mother-in-laws-tounge" or some kind of saucer, to protect your floor. Love the sunset, perking through your window.
Love the vanity set up! I will keep my fingers crossed for the 🪑. I can hardly wait for your countertops,( just covering the plywood looks so much better)!
I loved the opening montage while you were driving on the snowy road with the towering pines, I think you have really progressed with your filming and editing from when you first started!
Happy to see a new video. Love the vanity and mirror. You brought back a nice memory for me . We had a homemade ice rink when my son was little. Had loads of fun skating and playing ice hockey..😊
Your new table looks perfect in that spot and the mirror looks like it was made at the same time. I am happy to see you are not in a big rush to get the pieces that you want in your home. There will be plenty of yard sales and the like come spring, and it will be fun to look them over before you have to start on the yard work. Thanks for sharing and have a Blessed day.
Hi, I saw another person find an older sewing basket on legs and she used if for her makeup. It was so cute that sitting out that it was functional and decor. Great find on your new addition to your bedroom. It was Donna at delightfully southern if you are interested in seeing hers.
I noticed your plant next to your vanity doesn’t have a saucer under it. You should get one and put it under there so your floors don’t get ruined. The vanity is pretty. Very nice. Good job on the house.👍💜💙💜💙🥰
Abby I love that your back and what a great idea to put vinyl tablecloth on those boards. Also, maybe look for a table that you can use for the coffee maker and more the trash can .
By the way you can easily set your sink temporarily in place. Put two 2x4 front to back on top of your sink cabinet and drop your sink in the middle. Make your plumbing connections as you would otherwise. Your granite countertop is most likely 2 inches thick so your connections will be at their right place. If you have an undermount sink run another 2x4 lengthwise in the back and drill a whole for your faucet.
Love the vanity and mirror. The snake plant could be elevated slightly on a base, and trimmed, or tied round/retrained upward, so spears not flopping over. Great aesthetics!
Abby, if you were to change the plug of your coffee maker for a white one, you might as well look for the specialty plugs which are super flat and have the wire coming on the side. That said I don't recommend changing the plug of a coffee machine in general. They stay on all the time and a factory seal is always safer.
Can not wait for the counter tops, going to finish it off and looks great. The vanity is so cute. The mirror on the wall was what was thinking instead of the picture. So, I like it. Once you get the lamp thing worked out it will look really nice. I go nuts without a sink. It will go fast the next week and a half. The vinyl covers are a great idea. Save the bigger one for a picnic table for after the counters are in. I was thinking thin piece of plywood for the bed, it will work and adds more support to the mattress too. Also, if you want to add a bed skirt to it will help. Peace!
That mirror is a perfect match for your beautiful new vanity in both color and style. It looks lovely. I use the expression "You can't beat that with a stick." all the time. I don't know why; I just always have. I grinned when I heard you say it. By the way, Clive must be really happy about having you in the house because I noticed he is no longer climbing all over you and jumping on everything so that he can be closer to your arms (in order for you to pick him up and snuggle or pet him). Now that you're moved in, I'm sure he 's one happy kitty. In fact, if a cat rolls over and exposes their belly to you, that is a DEFINITE sign that they very comfortable and trust you immensely. It's not an announcement that they want a belly rub, but a body language way of saying: I absolutely adore you."
You could always paint the vanity, mirror and chair the paint you used in the utility room. Wouldnt it match the wallpaper colors? Then look for a crystal or brass lamp?
Not even thru with video and was seeing coffee maker on trash can- anyway you could make a stand to have trash can slide under a counter there in same place and still be able to open and have counter area made of wood for the top so coffee making station could be used closer to the plug and maybe some shelving above that ?? Jay where you at 🥰
Table is sweet, never miss thrift stores I have found some great finds. I would love to see a gas fireplace in your living room as it would be too late for a real one.
That coffee pot really needs its own coffee bar stand right there where the trashcan sits
I agree
You could look for a “coffee cart” to set where the garbage can is and have a coffee area that will leave your counter open.
I agree with you. I think the coffee maker looks crammed under the shelf.
The oval mirror looks great with the table. Looks like they belong together.
“Can’t beat that with a stick” is definitely a phrase!
I think the mirror above the vanity is perfect. The house is adorable. You and Jay did a great job.
Use the little white desk for your coffee bar downstairs.
I love the vanity. Abby uf you move the trash can to the other end cap you could fit a really pretty coffee bar cabinet. Some have upper storage to hang mugs and bottom storage as well. You could put the coffee maker in that and you wouldn't see the cords.

Love the vanity table and the oval mirror us perfect!! Miss seeing your fur babies 🐈⬛🐺
Yes I agree with that, you can always open the window coverings during the day to let the sun in.
The vanity is a beautiful piece. I love in older homes when things are not "matchy-matchy". It gives the feel of history and acquiring things for your home over time.
Kudos to whoever had the idea for the countertops! And your vanity set up is beautiful! Great choice and worth the drive! ❤️
The mirror is perfect with table, it looks like they were made for each other.
That mirror goes perfectly with the makeup/jewelry table! And that little corner is the perfect spot for both of them.
Yay! It is all coming together beautifully! So good to see you again! 😊
hi Abby, was so happy to see you again and that was a great idea to use table cloths! I would move your vanity closer to your window so it’s not so close to your white cabinets/drawers…
We used a vinyl tablecloth on our island until we got our top! It was over Christmas, so I changed it out for a festive one also!❤
The vanity is perfect! Clever idea tablecloth counter covers ❤
There are adapters to use on outlets so you can plug in from side instead of from front and you can use the outlet behind the coffee maker.
I thought of that, too.
Vanity,mirror,and chairreally match pretty well
A small bench seat would look cute with the makeup desk also remember the round stool for makeup desks.
Oh you sweet girl, another old phrase is All good things come to those who wait! Stay positive and continue doing what you’re doing. LOVE that table with the mirror above it! Bless you and your family 🙏❤️
The oval mirror looks like it was made for the vanity!
Love the vanity! Your stair railing is glorious!
I know that you were pretty much done with all your electric, but you could put a recessed outlet box and that way your coffee maker could go flat against the wall❤❤❤❤
That's a really good idea!
Easy fix is a flat wall or wall hugger outlet extender. The plugs go along the wall with those and will hide behind coffee machine
❤❤❤ 4:16 Bright spot in my day! Love the vanity, a great purchase!
I think it is a good idea to add dark furniture pieces with your light walls and trim. Nice contrast.
Abby, have you seen the new wall sconces that don’t require hardwiring and you use a remote for the bulb? I think one on each side of your mirror would look so cute and leave more room on your vanity.
I was thinking the same thing! Such a small vanity and need lots of room for make up. Two on either side of that cute mirror would be adoreable.
I named your home and pray Abbys Stonewall Cottage and Gardens is blessed forever. Great job, incredible design, wonderful to see the excitement and happiness you earned from hard work well done! Look forward to the Gardens....
The mirror is perfect for the vanity. Looks great!!
Love the mirror over the vanity. It belongs there.
The mirror goes really well with the vanity.
My opinion is to get a vanity stool. Tucks under the table and will look great. Move the plant. ❤
The vanity table is beautiful.
Great to see you! Keep thrifting and just "layer" things you love and it will be homey before you know it! I love the picture your friend gave you. How thoughtful!
Necessity is the mother of invention!😊
That's a phrase too......
I love the vanity. I recently got one just like I’d always wanted, I need to recover the bench once I decide what color I’m doing the bedroom.
Jay needs to make appearances from time to time! Tell him he’s missed!
hey Abby been watching from the start Jay is the man who built your house and has trained you, happy to you have your home
Your ideas are all good.
Your home is looking sooooo beautiful 🤩
Where are the cats? I missed them already ❤
I like your taste in Furnatur looks very nice Abby, Have a wonderful day
Very nice vanity. I like the mirror too. They look nice together.
You could put a shelf above the trashcan for the coffee machine
Yep, the mirror is great!
I'm liking the mirror a lot with your little makeup table perfect match looks like a nice cozy spot for your makeup routine
It’s coming together nicely Abby. Enjoy the process angel, you have worked very hard to arrive at this great stage.
Yes, the table cover does not need staples. Oh how beautiful out your kitchen windows. Snow! Lovely view.
I love the vanity, and I love the mirror you hung above it.
"You can't beat that with a stick" is a phrase that is often heard in the south. I have no idea where it originated from.
Great idea to use cover the plywood with the washable tablecloths & it looks good. Your vanity area is very cute.
I love it Abby. Looks good. What a deal. Counter tops covered was a good idea.
The mirror is perfect!
Great score - the table and mirror would look pretty in the same color as the laundry room cabinet.
Different colored wood is always in style. Your home is coming along. Everything looks great.
Looks great ! Love recycle reuse stuff.
I also have shelves above my coffee maker - but the steam it created was dripping down the cord- and directly into the outlet!
So I pull it away from the wall while it is brewing, then put it back when done.
Love the table and the mirror, glad for another video.
This was fun! Your house is so cozy and cute
What an opening video! Fast speed on snowpacked roads through Upper New York. Pine trees on both sides of the road, too cool.
If you can find a decorative pot for your plant in your bedroom "Mother-in-laws-tounge" or some kind of saucer, to protect your floor.
Love the sunset, perking through your window.
Ih I love to thrift so much fun. Beautiful Vanity ❤❤❤❤❤
What a clever idea using the vinyl over the plywood. Good to see your video today I was wondering how things were going.
Happy to see a new video. Love the vanity and mirror. You brought back a nice memory for me . We had a homemade ice rink when my son was little. Had loads of fun skating and playing ice hockey..😊

Love the kitchen very much … hard to believe … so beautiful
Glad your back! Excited to see your countertops!
Abby for your coffee maker just use a short extension lead plugged into outlet behind it - works great! Vanity suits the room and was a great price.
Beautiful vanity. You could use a packet of baby wipes for your hands when working in the kitchen, till your sink is up and running. 🙂
I noticed your plant next to your vanity doesn’t have a saucer under it. You should get one and put it under there so your floors don’t get ruined. The vanity is pretty. Very nice. Good job on the house.👍💜💙💜💙🥰

I love your new hair color. Matches your new vanity! : ) Can't wait to see the counter top! Nancy from OHIO
Can't beat that with a stick!
Great job and loved the video 😘👍🏻💕💕🙏🏻🙏🏻
Love the oval mirror
The mirror looks great with the new vanity❤
I used my formica top island for wallpaper, sawing lumber, painting furniture, best indoor work table ever!
Love the new vanity…. Maybe a plant stand for your plant?
Duck Tape os SO,AMERICAN!!!LOL we use it everywhere, the older kind was great on deep cuts
Queen Ann Style legs on the vanity lovely. Ah the mirror that matches the vanity sweet buy.
Can not wait for the counter tops, going to finish it off and looks great. The vanity is so cute. The mirror on the wall was what was thinking instead of the picture. So, I like it. Looking awesome 😊
That mirror is a perfect match for your beautiful new vanity in both color and style. It looks lovely.
I use the expression "You can't beat that with a stick." all the time. I don't know why; I just always have. I grinned when I heard you say it.

My Missy snuggles up to me, then flops over and demands her belly rubs. She loves them. Nudges my hand with her head if I stop before she's done.
You could always paint the vanity, mirror and chair the paint you used in the utility room. Wouldnt it match the wallpaper colors? Then look for a crystal or brass lamp?
You could try another matching shelf above the trashcan for the coffee maker. Would free up some counter space and take care of the unsightly cord
Looking good Abbey 😊
Not even thru with video and was seeing coffee maker on trash can- anyway you could make a stand to have trash can slide under a counter there in same place and still be able to open and have counter area made of wood for the top so coffee making station could be used closer to the plug and maybe some shelving above that ?? Jay where you at 🥰
Actually at first I thought that the trash can was a stainless steel table made for the coffee maker!
Hi Abby great idea for a temporary cover on the bench,s.❤😊tc
I like that wobbly chair, ask Jay how to tighten it again.....He will give you good advice.
Table is sweet, never miss thrift stores I have found some great finds. I would love to see a gas fireplace in your living room as it would be too late for a real one.
The mirror looks very good above the vanity.
The mirror looks beautiful with your make up table!
You have done a good job on the inside ❤❤❤❤🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺👍Keith
Maybe place your snake plant in the living room or your first floor bathroom.
