- Freestyle ballet turned from ballet skiing to trying to dance with dumb things stuck on your feet. Kind of a drum majorette practice session. This clip from 1984's Ski Country shows how talented and ridiculous some of these skiers are.

OMG, and I remember trying a number of those maneuvers myself! Never to music, but occasionally in either stretch pants or my neon one-piece (no, I don't own either outfit any longer, but could likely make bucks on Ebay today! if I did!).
