I tried the Canto, immediately regretted it. The SMG you can create compares to other SMG's better than the Canto does to other cyberdecks, and yes, Blackwall Gateway is really a Contagion mutation. Contagion plus Overheat costs less, spreads more, and doesn't eat your health. Short Circuit I only use on droids and drones. I'd add Memory Wipe, which is untraceable, and makes all your subsequent hacks in the stack untraceable as well. Plus it distracts and they'll stop attacking. The classic combo of a tier 4 Memory Wipe, tier 2 Reboot Optics, and an Iconic Sonic Shock will take anyone short of a boss down.
@@arthuralford blackwall is greedy for ram and health. with the right build and cyberware it's a weapon of mass destruction. what i like most in canto - you don't need to upload quickhack on every single enemy to kill. instead you upload blackwall to 3 - 4 enemies and then watch entier 4 lvl hideout of 20 scavs die in pain. literally like FIA blackops in Orbital Air😉
Best stealth quickhack queue is for sure: 1. Memory wipe 2. Cyberware malfunction 3. Synapse burnout 4. Ping On shots skull enemies on very hard and causes no trace Pair with overclock and you stay in that mode forever as long as you have 20 body
At high levels, t4 memwipe (not t5 as t5 and the iconic are INSANELY RAM-hungry) into reboot optics (tier 2 is fine) into iconic Sonic Shock oneshots for less ram, and with Axolotl, you'll rarely need to wait for your Overclock to be back up.
Nice vid, but the opening comment is odd. I didn't play pre-2.0, so if Cyberdecks were even more broken, that's bonkers. As it is they're so absurdly, ludicrously overpowered I can't use them, because even on the hardest setting they utterly trivialize the entire game. Just point, click, win, over and over.
my buddy is a hacking and whipping machine. it isn't even fun or satisfying to play and is totally soulless gameplay if you ask me. he has smart weapons but says he rarely brings one out. just hack, whip, click. it's even worse if you are on a PC imo. using a controller makes the game much more enjoyable during combat and driving but I'm a ps5 guy
Ahahahah pre 2.0 you had breach protcol which basically gave you access to the entire enemy network, pop into a camera and hit a guy with contagion, then exit the camera and watch that one contagion spread to the ENTIRE building and kill everything in seconds.
The biggest nerf is that pre 2.0 you could upload sonic shock and disconnect a person from the network, then synapse burnout and you would still be undetected. OTOH there was no overdrive and you just couldn’t hack more than a few people before waiting to get ram restored. So hard to tell which version is more broken. For a stealth netrunner pre 2.0 was better, for an aggressive one it’s better now. If you don’t enjoy, there’s still sandevistan or berserk (or none at all if you like). I love this game.
@@gnperdue pre 2.0 net running you could just do it all from a camera there was no tracking or you could go silenced overture with stealth/combat quick hacks. New net running is so op it’s no point of really using weapons once you get 20 in intelligence besides smart weapons.
Detection after using a quickhack is relatively new. For us who played from day one, before 2.0 a Netrunner could kill Adam Smasher in max difficulty without him ever seeing them.
Sonic Shock followed by System Collapse will silently take out all by the toughest of enemies (and cyberpsychos) without you being traced. It does take quite a bit of RAM but it's great for enemies you can't get to easily without being noticed.
Que purple mind wipe , cyberware makfunction , cyberware malfunction , short circut This will KO more st and depending on the int attuned cyberware will return ram to repeat , purple mind wipe only needed for stealth if in combat que 3 malfunction instead. Contagen , burnout qued is basically a incendiary grenade Mind wipe , sonic shock and reboot optics qued is indentical to the removed system reset quickhack These are 3 of the best ques since 2.1
Finally finished the main storyline of cyberpunk I freaking loved it V and Judy are very happy to be together because I saw the voicemail meaning she live and living with Judy I'm really happy TK I love your videos of cyberpunk!
You are not wrong about most of these, but I think the point of 'nerfing' quickhacks is so V doesn't become OP too soon. Basically, it forces you to become a more well-rounded player in the game. Bad? Good? That's a matter of opinion. It's also important to discover and _use_ quickhacks in combination, and that's can be a tricky skill to develop and exploit in your game.
i think you miss the militech canto potential. it just need a very specific build and cyberware to make it work. need overclock + heal on kill + memory boost + axolotl + blood pump + techies perk more health items. and so on. and make sure you upload cyberware malfunction first before blackwall since it will quicken the blackwall upload.
I almost exclusively use Synapse Burnout. It is the most optimal quickhack to use at endgame. In my opinion it is the only truly overpowered 'weapon' in the game right now. It can reach over 40k damage (on MaxTac). The only other quickhack I use is Cyberware Malfunction. Cyberware Malfunction + spamming Synapse Burnout, will delete MaxTac at very hard difficulty. Synapse Burnout one-shots every other enemy. It also extends the duration of Overclock. A netrunner without Overclock active is vulnerable and significantly less powerful.
@@suburbantimewaster9620 i feel you, that one was really good. You could try getting the perks that make quick hacks less traceable too, that could make reboot optics stronger too.
For a stealth netrunner pre 2.0 was better. I miss that too. For an aggressive netrunner build - especially with a mono wire - it’s way more powerful now thanks to overdrive.
@@Quimbo_Slice The combo I use is a tier 4 Memory Wipe (untraceable and all other hacks are too, distracts targets and they break off attacks), tier 2 Reboot Optics (for the Embedded Exploit bonus of 1 covert + 1 control hack), and an Iconic Sonic Shock (cloaks the enemy from their team, and with the first to makes them unconscious)
"What can I say I like arson" 4:53 - Do as Johnny said and burn the city , been thinking of making a Pyromaniac Nomad character, maybe a mix of the quick-hacks but only really so he can use the singular one to set them on fire, alongside a bunch of grenades and a shotgun with pyro mods attached 🔥
Love this vid ! I just started playing cyberpunk for the first time and wanted to do a netrunner stealth type build now i know what to look for thank you!
Yeah. Your list is great if you want to kill everything. I prefer non-Lethal if I can. Short-Circuit + Contagion. Shot or two from Fenrir if they're not quite enough = 85-90% non-lethal takedowns.
They went from point-and-click the same quickhack to combos, each with special purposes. You want to apply stealth never getting caught? Then use the combo knocking the enemies out silently. You want combat with lots of explosions? Then Contagion and setting them on fire is an option. You can even manipulate the enemies in such away there won’t be any dead people around, pure manipulation.
Hey! I am afraid the best offensive quick hack combo has been missed by creator as well as commentors. Uploading Sonic Shock LV 5 to an enemy already affected by Memory Wipe and Reboot Optics will cause them to lose consciousness. The best part is, only Sonic Shock has to be LV 5. So I start with Memory Wipe LV 4 to make all of it untraceable, than cheapest reboot optics, and than Sonic Shock. With iconic Sonic Shock, you can get so low with RAM with it, I have no problems queuing 3-5 combo stacks while overcharging
Hack's priority will vary somewhat depending on your build but there's still definitely some hacks that have universal value since there is definitely a best Deck and it's head and shoulders above the rest. Choosing not to use the Rippler is foolish if you understand it's capabilities and hacking. Sonic Shock and Cyberware Malfunction should be in the top 3 without a doubt and they're not 3rd. If you know what you're doing you'll be using these a ton in both stealth and combat Synapse Burnout is in the top 3 After that it's ICONIC Memory Wipe, Contagion, Cripple Movement on Monowire, Suicide, Short Circuit, Overheat, Reboot Optics Based on utility, practicality, versatility, and RAM value this should be the most best hacks. Cyberpsychosis doesn't offer much utility. SB renders System Collapse useless. If I need to maintain stealth I can do it without even using the perks that reduce traceability and trace progress. This is also why Request Backup, Ping, and Bait aren't on the list except it's Recon Grenades that make those hacks pretty redundant. Especially since you regenerate nonlethal grenades so fast during stealth. They cost no RAM and can be used from anywhr. You can even control if you want it to bait or just ping. Weapon Glitch would make an honorable mention. And everybody knows Blackwall is cool but that doesn't out weight how impractical it is to use.
@TK_Trickster all in all tho I'm kinda disappointed with both, I was hoping it'd be like the songbird airport scene with the black wall stuff or even like some videos I've seen on RUclips but I've realized those were probably modded games and I'm on xbox. So all-in-all it wasn't worth betraying songbird.
