    This method works, but agree that pivot tables would provide more insight and flexibility. They can automatically calculate averages by shipping method or by any other field in the downloaded data. Pivot tables can be intimidating for those that aren't familiar with them though.

    Yessss! Switching to flat rate shipping was a game changer for my sales. I had so many people message me about the calculated shipping being too high and but I haven't received a complaint since switching to flat rate. I sell mainly clothing and I was able to switch my first class items such as shirts and shorts and priority items that fit in the flat rate envelopes like jeans to flat rate but I need to go back and update my bulkier items and items over 2 lbs to flat rate. Now that I have the data I can go back, review , and make updates. Although I did include the cost of shipping supplies in the price I didn't consider eBay fees! 😬 I'll need to figure that out.       Oh smart. I don’t consider shipping supplies although it’s minimal as my are mostly free polymailers from eBay or usps supplies. But great point for other sellers!
