- Campervans are practical for those out there who want to avoid the time spent setting up a tent or a caravan just to bed down for the night. Throw in the ability to cook dinner safe from the elements and be able to take care of things inside when Mother Nature calls, and you can see why they're an option.

Learned about the Mod Van in Ventura California from watching this video this morning. They are a mile and a half from my home so on the way home from shopping, my wife and I stopped by.
Nice people making a good product with the customer in mind.

That huge fridge makes#3 the best.bunk beds don't look comfy but functional practicality,saves space+ room for bikes!
Yes if you pick the right vehicle for your needs then they worth the money. problem I found people expect everything for nothing. there's a lot of hours building these type of vehicles and not all come off a production line like a car as most are hand built.
Yes, camper vans are worth it!
Drive them to work, errands, shopping, sport events, drive them anywhere and you always have a bed with you.
They are the ultimate prepper vehicle!
My favorite was and still is the Westfalia camper van with the 2.0 litre engine! Out of all of the vans shown I will go for the VW Westfalia, compact, usable and fun!

I have a cargo van and yes they are worth it. I think van companies choose to much dinning area and not enough closet space. If front seats turn around then no need for extra chairs. That space can be used for closet space. Most of time spent in van is driving or sleeping and 10 minutes to eat.
I found the Adria Twin Camper to be the most versatile, with a beautiful and accommodating interior. All for $52,000.00. Very nice!

I have a 2017 Winnebago Travato (class B) camper van, that I bought slightly used for $70K. I love it, and could easily enjoy all of the displayed models, except the ones without a bathroom - i'm sorry about that. I don't think your question: which camper vans do you like(?) applies as much as: what can you afford? I am especially interested in any good van conversion that is four-wheel-drive. Currently I don't have that option😔.

Regarding the lady's question about the van, I don't even know, never seen it before. It looks like some kind of vehicle used for fun activities. Regarding Reacher's query of which van I'd choose, probably the one rated number one as I like the bed slide out feature.

Thanks for including the websites & prices for these. IMO, anyone looking for FT van living isn't going to be satisfied without an indoor toilet/shower setup. The majority living in vans don't need the 2nd row of seating either unless they're doing this as a family.
The more I look the more I think building our own is the way to go

Number 7 is perfect for cross country
Fiat is worldwide leader in campervans. Many have other names and different logos but the are all Fiat. The Ducato is basically the best van to do a conversion due to its sizes.
I want to buy a Ducato Maxi and do a conversion.

I love the idea of van life having the amenities of sleeping and having a complete kitchen. I wish someone would design a mini trailer that converts to a fully functional bathroom. Designs can be endless. Collapsible stand up shower roomy enough for two. A separate toilet. Cabinets\storage space. And plenty of water storage.
Maybe even a tub/shower

The James Cook is certainly inovative .. I'm delighted to see the launch of the VW Grand California; the swb 600 has a small upper bed, whereas the lwb 680 has no upper bed, but its large rear bed had side windows. The Grand Cali has on board shower and toilet .. so which do I buy for use in Europe ?

To properly live in a van every area needs to be a dedicated space. A bed to be a bed, a proper shower, bathroom and kitchen.. some of the vans are very over priced, but still cool to look at. Being stuck in a small space for long periods of time would get on anybody’s Nerves. So space is important. I realize that your trying to fit a lot into a small space with multifunction. But good job on videos
It's all dependent on one's needs. For you, perhaps what you said is what you need.

Your learning fast. A tip, I wouldn't stop to do a left turn on a 2 way both ways if a lot of cars are coming the other way. I would go pass it until I see no cars coming then take a left and come back to that road. Why? You have to stop & wait about 1-2 minutes and about 20 cars or odds that all drive have to see you. ( stop object are harder to see) and go around you. You could that the center but they will still jump to the right lane fast the the next guy behind has to see you at the last second. ( there going 30-40 mph) its all about odds
They were a few where the car behind bump them into the incoming.

You know there are some of us that live in our vans so that we can live better we don't make a lot of money or we're on disability or retired and living on a small pension. We don't want to wait for somebody to wear the new off of a new vehicle so that we can get it secondhand. Is there anybody building any kind of a van that somebody on a small budget could afford brand new or almost brand new.?
I am suprised by the extra seating bench in all of these conversions, it seems most people who live full time would not need this and the space would be better utilized by more storage, etc.
