My name is CHON. Born and raised in Thailand, traveled to more than 70 cities 40 countries around the world. Been showing my country to my friends from around the world , so I decide to make this channel. It's baffling to me how not more people know about these channels. Friends from Thailand and Opals story need more recognition due to the fact that its their home and they have a lot more knowledge of amazing places than transplants that vlog there. No offense to Retired working for you who I also got a lot of information from among others but support these local creators! Thank you FFT!
It’s real Thais 😊
Friends from Thailand, your videos are like a window into the lively world of Thai culture! Exploring the floating markets is such a colorful and dynamic experience. Thanks for taking us along on these exciting adventures! 🛶🌸
Amphawa is a nice place to spend the weekend, contrary to what you say the Amphawa market is only open from Friday to Sunday. On the other hand, we cannot really say that Amphawa is a floating market because all the merchants' stalls are on the side of the canal and not on boats. You can take a boat to stroll on the canals, however there is no point in taking a boat in the evening to go see the fireflies because it is far away, you cannot see the landscapes because it is dark and in fact there is not much to see. On the other hand, early in the morning you have to go see the monks by boat going to do Tak Ba. For me the Damoen Saduak floating market is just a tourist trap because it was designed for that, there is nothing authentic about it unlike the few floating markets which are located a few kilometers from Amphawa and which are authentic. Please note, it is better to book your hotel in advance because Amphawa is very popular with Thais from Bangkok who come to spend the weekend there.
Hi, regarding night boat ride at Amphawa, do one get a chance to see the fireflies actually or it's down to pure luck and you may end up not seeing anything. I'd like to make sure such trip is worth it. Thanks
@@gbdr_ps_fan8656 Yes we see some but for me it is not worth the trip: seeing a few points of light in the trees. I had more fun when I was a child and I went to collect fireflies near my house! For me it is better to take a daytime stroll on the canals to see the landscapes and the daily life of the Thais. On the other hand, you have to go early in the morning to see the monks by boat for Tak Ba (I think it's around 5:30 a.m.). Ask your hotel, they will inform you ruclips.net/video/oY_D6foWICQ/видео.html

And yes, Khun Bam(?) is very pretty...and modest. 😊
Hi Chon, have you done the video for the weekend market which visitors can actually took a BTS to one of the station and there is an electronic shuttle bus that took the passengers to 3 or 4 different markets..only on weekends.
I've missed your video for a few weeks now
Great travel.. 🙏🤗👍💯✌️🎼🏞️💐
Very good information about amphawa. I was now many times there. I always take the public transport in the morning to the talat rom hub and from there by songthaew to amphawa. But to get back to Bangkok is always a problem. How do you get with public transport back to bangkok from amphawa ?
I'm wrapping my head around this very question: how do I get back to Bangkok from Amphawa. We'll be there in August and I did not find any reliable info on it. Any tips? thanks
Would love to see 4k videos on your channel soon, P'Chon.
Thanks for this video Khun Chon and Bam. I’m actually going to Thailand in August with my Mom and will be staying there 15 days. We plan to take an overnight trip to Samut Songkhram and will will definitely visit Amphawa. 🙏🏻. And wow nice to see Earn again after a really long time. 😊

For Damnoen Saduak floating market, can you drive your own car and park it there?
Yes you can

Search for "Amphawa Chai Pattananurak Project" in google map. I believe that is the place

Just enjoy the content of what they are telling us all about. With a bit of luck you can use the information if or when you travel to this amazing country. I actually love love love all of what they are telling us about their culture and country. Their English is very good and makes you concentrate on what they are saying. Listen and learn. !!! Then enjoy.

Is it true that us passport holder can stay in Thailand for 60 days free visa?
Yes
you will be perfect if you stop always say RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT
Who made you the director??? Unless you have something better, you should keep your comments to yourself. English is their second language.
@@kevinp8108 the woman speaks well but the man always says right right it seems always ask me good or not and its just my opinion any way I like very much Freind from thailand beceau my mother is a thailand and I came from Thailand
@@leophoenix2632 - I am sorry. I did not know you are Thai. I thought you were a foreigner criticizing Chon's English. I am a Thai-American who 100% fluent in English but I am only 70% fluent in Thai. I get upset whenever someone criticizes my Thai language skills. I have lived in the USA since the age of 2 and I am now 56 yo. The Thai woman is half Thai and half farang. Her father is farang so she speaks English with him. That is why her English is good.
@@kevinp8108 that s OK my home at UDORN THANI and always at because I speak well french s language that s why I come to Montreal Canada to work AND WILL COME BACK HOME every winter because so cold for me in QUEBEC Anyway I think he doesn t read the comments because I asked him 4 times already since 2022 he never answered me
