yeah, stunned enemies won't do their "special abilities", be it attacking, using ranged weapons, transforming, burrowing, sliding, etc
I think the only exception is the death explosion of abominations, that triggers regardless

I think it's still not an exception because one can't be stunned and dead at the same time. If it randomly exploded when it is alive, stunning it would most likely have distrupted it.
