- I’m off to ride the sand stone way so I’m servicing the Trek Boone and I’m making some changes, I’ve been sent a new toy from China so myself and the Team Cycles mechanic have a little competition. #trekboone #gravelcycling

My lord thats a beautiful bike! Good call on the Orange too!
I think so too! 👊🏽👊🏽
Bottle cages look mint 👌👌
Big up Ben, Bread bins, team Cycles and Nathan T in Wythenshawe Mountains
Looking forward to Sandstone Way.
Orange 🧡🍊 Bottle cages look great 👍
All flock to buy a hand pump then 😂
Also big up T Bain the watt machine of West Cheshire
😂
Good luck with your ride this weekend, nice looking bike.
good luck on the adventure! the white cages were chef's kiss. not keen on the mustard.
Great call on the orange bottle cage's. Glad to hear foxy is back .
Need to bring in Pump Action Francis for the competition.
Hell yeah best of luck on your next adventure 🤙
Good video. Orange bottle cages 👍.
Thanks 👍🏽
Ben!!! I watched you over on Cade Media. You are a *legend*
He definitely is ❤
Bro dressed way too nice to be elbows deep in the parts wash. Dope vid!
Appreciate that
Looking forward to seeing Foxy back on _his_ channel. Good luck on the ride; the organizer made it sound challenging. (Orange? Meh.)
Another great video, love the bike. Interesting results from the pump test, I think I’ll be sticking with my Lezyne Grip Drive HV pump😊
Hahahaha - Cheers 👊🏽
I think tandems need much higher pressures to eliminate pinch punctures
A real problem with CO2 is that it can damage many types of tubeless sealant. It chemically changes the PH, causing it to dry out quicker than it should.
Truth
Another great vid, nice hoodie also. How can Francis not be your favourite RUclipsr!?
Francis is family ❤️
Thanks appreciate that 🙏🏽🙌🏾
Honestly I think CO2 and electric pumps are just a lazy excuse 😂😂
Just get a good pump. The one I use is from topeak pocket rocket with a claim 160psi which is crazy.. I hardly pump up above 80psi and it works great.
Ya Mat Armstrong and you are both absolute legends
It's not like going to buy crashed Rolls Royce or crashed Trek and fix it up but it's knowledge in the end 😂😂
Looking good!
The bike that is!
How are you finding the mechanical Sram Apex stuff? Its something i am considering!
That Sandstone way looks interesting.
Mite have to try that!
👍
Don’t forget your Dynaplugs in case of punctures.
You will have them 👀
BTW, *_Qi_* is pronounced like _chee_ & it means life force or vital energy in Chinese medicine.
Looks great. How do you determine pressure for riding?
I don't
What them Pirelli tyres called 😂
The man is wearing a Pirelli hat and proceeds to absolutely butcher Cinturato 😂
@@GregK2was a good try 😂 hope he's not a brand ambassador 👏
@@TBat0431 in fairness I have rarely heard it pronounced correctly from anyone!
😂🤣😂
Slowly it seems like you have to think about charging waay to many batteries before taking a long ride with your bike. CO2 and hand action pumps are once put on your bike and will work :)
Yeah, we have to charge so much stuff.
So.... I normally have a CO2 cartridge with a mini pump backup. Would you (Ben) pack the mini electric pump instead? The mini electrics I've seen will normally inflate two road tires to 100 psi per charge. Plusses: reusable inflator...minuses ... need some way ro recharge and weight.
Looking forward to video from event.
I can't speak for Ben, but my brother has and really likes his Cycplus Tiny E-pump. And has switched out the pump/CO2 for it. But it has its draw backs which is why I have stuck with my mini pump, limited uses(similar to CO2s), and it is still relatively heavy and fairly bulky and you either need to free up space in the saddle bag or put it in a jersey pocket, his is also not water proof.
For me personally, I have stopped carrying CO2 during the summer, but I prefer doing 160km+ rides, and if you are already carrying a good pump, you might as well just use the pump and leave the CO2s at home.
@@OrgunDonor good points. Yeah if the mini electric isn't waterproof, I can see sweat and rain leaving you stranded.
QiCycle 100% aint sending you any more products.
😂 a great product if you have one arm
